How to Get internet for Linux on the Wii?

i use xwhiite and it wont connect to the internet? help plz

It seems that you need to boot linux directly - eg. by selecting the boot loader via bootmii - this works for me.

If you run linux via HBC, I think linux can't get control of the wifi device

Yeah Linux running via HBC can't use WiFi, it can only use USB ethernet adapter.

Anyway, I don't think XWhiite has WiFi support, I think you need to use Whiite.

Even if you can't install Bootmii in boot2, you can still use wifi with Bootmii as IOS.

My own tutorial is no more now that tehskeen is gone, but there is a pretty good one on another site.

I dunno...it takes about two clicks to get from that to a guide full of illegal crap. Including an auto-reply email to get all the illegal files you "need". (That's a common way of getting round the "No illegal files" rule at GBAFail, and the mods there don't mind that.)
