Which distro...rather confused...

Hi there!
This is my first post,so don't kill me if I post stupid questions...
So...

1) Actually, which is the most complete wii linux distro? I've read a lot, but cannot understand which is the most "complete"
2) What's mikep5? My english is not very good,but i understood that it's a kernel or not?
3) Can i use something like "apt-get install blablabla" and/or compile some stupid programs with gcc or g++ ?

after install it, you can use apt-get install to add what you want as normal debian system.

MIKEp5 just stands for MIni KErnel Preview 5. Which is the linux kernel, build with "MINI" support (low level hardware access)

I'm using the latest version of Whiite
apt-get worked out fine for me, I'm kinda of a newbie too, but following some tutorials I managed to install Fluxbox (search for The_Marioga's tutorial on it, works great!), conky, and some other apps no problem.
Desktops like Gnome or KDE won't run on your Wii because they consume a lot of resources which your wii does not have.
It also helps to dedicate some swap space for your wii to run better, either on an USB device, or on the same SD card you're running whiite (although this last option is not recommended because flash memories wear off faster on multiple read access than common ones)
