does pandora work on the wii internet browser, if it does then this would be possible with another forwarding channel(not sure if these are approved by Wiibrew). If it doesn't work, then sorry then an entire app would have to be made.by g_man - Ideas, requests
don't worrie, it is fine as long as you only change these fields: source: pick static base title: pick a title for the channel options: don't change anything here, except the DOL section. just hit the browse button, and find the .dol for the emulator. banner: use the replace button to choose an image to use as the main banner, it will automatically be streched to fit icon: same asby g_man - Homebrew Applications
Try this app. It will allow you to create a custom channel, that you can launch from the wii system menu. Also, next time use better grammer. It was painful to read your post.by g_man - Homebrew Applications
Is there a way to change the maximum screen hight for libwiisprite. Right now whenever I place objects with a y value of about 540 then they don't show up. This isn't a huge problem, but it would be nice if there was some way to make it larger.by g_man - Coding
What is the exact error you are getting? The problem most likely is that there is a problem with the location of the template/helloworld folder. If there is any spaces then it wont work. (ex. C:/Documents and Settings/user/documents) If there are spaces then you will need find a new location for your homebrew apps. I would suggest creating a homebrew directory in the root of the C drive.by g_man - Getting Started
Install v0.6, that should fix your problem.by g_man - Getting Started
All new wii's are running 4.3 and have a disk drive that cannot read DVD's, only original wii disks. Also you won't be able to install Bootmii as boot2. You will need a copy of Super Smash Bros.(USA only), or Lego indiana Jones(Anywhere). You don't have to own the games, but instead you can just rent them if you want. You only need the game for a couple minutes. Anything thby g_man - Getting Started
Priiloader sits before the system menu. If there is a problem with the System menu then you can use priiloader to launch the Homebrew Channel, and from there you can fix the problemby g_man - Getting Started
This register is probably set and changed by every game or channel launched. So, there is mostlikly no default volume setting for the wii that could be changed. Even if there was, the code for it would be deep inside some executable that would have to disassembled to find the one line that sets this variable. Then you would have to change the binary code that sets this. Sorry, this just isn'by g_man - Ideas, requests

QuoteTerrycAnd also i was going thru your manual and it said something about not having the dvd function on one method....is that limited to your system build ? Or just the method? That is a hardware limitation. Sometime recently(I'm not sure when exactly, 1-2 years ago), nintendo replaced their DVD drives so that they will ONLY read original wii disks, and not starndard DVD's. you could try FTPii. With it you can look through the NAND file system, and you can download files to your computer and read them.by g_man - Ideas, requests
I don't know what the (f1) is(maybe a revision number?), but the U means that the game is the USA version of the game.by g_man - Homebrew Applications
If you don't want to buy the games, then you can just rent them. You don't need the games for very long.by g_man - Getting Started
Make sure your using a USA(NTSC) copy of the game. A European(PAL) copy won't work. If you live in Europe, you will have to use Indiana Pwns.by g_man - Getting Started
So what can you do? You can still get to the system menu, right? The error you recived has to do with losing the internet connection while updating. Go to the store, and rent a game with system menu 4.3. This should work as long as you haven't changed your wii's region, in which case you will need to change it back to your current region. If you still have homebrew, use AnyRegion Changeby g_man - Getting Started
As long as you still have the homebrew channel still installed, then you don't need to worry. You just have to put your apps back on the SD card. If you want to upgrade to a new wii firmware, then just run the latest hackmii installer through the homebrew channel. If you don't still have the homebrew channel, then if your still on 3.3 you can use bannerbomb to install it. otherwise useby g_man - Homebrew General
QuoteNintendoFreak I think updating the flash isnt going to help much because the Wii will still run out of ram to put all the flash stuff on. (or is there a way this could be fixed? like having it erase stuff it doesnt need, etc?) This would be something nintendo would have to solve, and I doubt they would put the effort into doing it.by g_man - Homebrew General
It also depends on what your going to use it for. If you just want it for documents, then I'd think you'd be safe with about a 500 GB drive or less, whereas if you want a lot of music and movies, then you'll want to shoot closer to 1 TB.by g_man - Offtopic
you SD card could still be the problem. Is it on the list of compatable SD cards found here. This list is far from complete, but you may just be unlucky and have tried 2 SD cards that don't work. You could try reformatting your SD card. This will earse all of the data on the SD card, so buck it up if you need to. To format it, plug the SD card into your computer, then go to my computer andby g_man - Getting Started

QuoteMagilSo, is the whole "Homebrew Web Browser" idea been abandoned completely? I always thought that, because this thread seemed so long, that it was because there were progress updates constantly posted here, saying what was going on and stuff. I was hoping for at least a way to update the Internet Channel's Flash Player at the very least, since I'm unable to play videos in mostby g_man - Ideas, requests
I wouldn't chuck your wii, but you won't be able to install homebrew. You could put it in storage incase any exploits come out that don't involve the Disk Drive. I think you could also try installing another disk drive, but I'm not sure how feasable this isby g_man - Getting Started
That isn't true. You can still install homebrew with SmashStack (North America only), or IndianaPwns. You won't be able to take advantage of bootmii for boot2, but i think that is the only difference.by g_man - Getting Started
For 640x480 resolution it isn't hard to figure it out for yourself. Just make some code that adds a new line of text every time you hit the A button. When you reach the bottom of the screen then your done.by g_man - Coding
also, do you have any apps on your sd card. You can't download them directly through the HBC you have to do that through a seperate app called the homebrew browser.by g_man - Getting Started
