Hey all. Just updated to the latest WiiMC (1.1.4). Chose a few music albums to play on a shuffle playlist and let it run as normal. Only thing is, when it went to the black screensaver where the WiiMC logo pops around the screen it froze, quit itself and went back to the HBC. Tried it again and it seemed to be ok, then it did manage to go to the screensaver OK. Just wondered if anyone else haby liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
Slightly off topic: Any word in regards to a rough release schedule for updates to Wii64 and WiiSX? Know it's a question that begs a "It's done when it's done" and I'm not looking for a "It'll be out on 26th March @ 3pm". Just curious as to anyone who knows how the team are progressing and maybe a "It looks like a Q1 or Q2 or Q3 release this year"by liquidtmd - Homebrew General

Is anyone aware of a recent issue I've been having with Mplayer CE (latest rev) During the playing of an AVI movie at a random interval, the whole screen scrolled upwards and out of view leaving a black screen. The only way to describe it is like if I was randomly screwing with the X/Y screen configuration position in the options, but as said I was just watching a movie. I tried to think of other variables that may have done this to me when I posted - In hindsight the only thing I'd done vaguely around that time was to install IOS58 but not update and reinstall the HBC which was still running through IOS61. Admittedly thats unlikely to have done it but again it just conked out for no reason - I was gutted, MPlayerCE's simplicity makes it perfect for me.by liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
Theres a couple of issues here, I'm not convinced they're interrelated. I hope if money changed hands with your 'mate' you got it for a good price, as it doesn't sound good. Error code 52030 refers to a problem between the Wii and your router. I'd ask your mate if he's ever been online with it and look at your router setup accordingly. A very concise review and expanded on some of the thoughts running through my head. Excited that it's received a quite a lengthy update following a couple of years in the wildnerness, but a little four steps forward - a couple back. It's mainly the hanging for me, and a few issues that lead me to also suspect a conflict between past data held from the earlier version and this reviseby liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
Karaoke would be an excellent option. A media player of sorts specifically designed to run 'Sunfly' or other such Karaoke video files with USB wii support. Not for me obviously. For my....girlfriend. Cough.by liquidtmd - Ideas, requests
Seconded as a request, would be great to have them all itemised in one place. Certain forwarder channels are already included on the HBB, WiiMC and VBA GX being just two. Would be nice as it would negate the need to use WAD manager to install them, being that WADS are somewhat of a grey issue on here.by liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
You registered just to rant? Fair enough. It's been said a thousand times - the exploits the Homebrew Community have devised have lead to the Wii being the easiest current generation console to run copied software IMO. No flashing of the drive or manual opening up of the box required. Just stick some software on an SD and follow guides that are pretty much rampant all over the web. It doeby liquidtmd - Offtopic
Thanks Tantric, will try this tonight and post what kind of results I get back. Not sure what WiiMC channel I have on, but again I try to keep updated with the latest revisions etc posted through the Homebrew browser. The MplayerCE thing was plain odd though. Halfway through a film then just black screen, no dump exceptions nothing. Thats ok now though still can't get that through a chby liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
Hey I've not seen any logged, but has anyone had any problems with either WiiMC or Mplayer of late? I've had them installed as channels for six months and had no problems with either. I keep them mainly updated with the latest revisions. I'm running 4.1 sys menu and last month installed HBC 1.0.8. This was all fine up until last week. MplayerCE was running a movie from a USBby liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
It's the whole 'it's not illegal in itself' argument, that applies quite broadly to a lot of HBC related content. On similar lines I was curious about CleanRip and it being listed on here, despite firm anti-backup views held (a good standpoint, as mods have previously rightly stated it keeps out the constant 'TELL US HOW YOU MAKE COPIED GAMES LOL' brigade). Hey chaps Long time lurker, first time poster. Really appreciate the time and answers given on these forums, I've had a good Wii setup for around 6months now thanks to some of the advice given on here. Maybe a strange opening post, but it's roamed around the back of my head whenever I'm on here lately - why do you advertise the program known as CleanRip (now 1.0.4 on the fronby liquidtmd - Homebrew Applications
