The Preloader haxx-skip seems to be useless right now, as you can't install Preloader as IOS70.by Matoking - Homebrew General
It updates it to boot2v4 in all cases.by Matoking - Homebrew General
SmashStack and Indiana Pwns still work.by Matoking - Homebrew General
They are directly attacking HBC and Bootmii/boot2? Stuff is about to get serious.by Matoking - Homebrew General
Just delete the private folder and put the old one back once you have installed HBC using any of the exploits.by Matoking - Getting Started
Delete cIOSes with AnyTitleDeleter and BootMii using HackMii Installer. And yes, I'm afraid that when you get your Wii back, it will be updated with 4.2by Matoking - Getting Started
The update includes nothing of interest to users, it's just an update to kill homebrew. Just ignore the update.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
No. It could be, homever, possible to use USB sticks in mini ( ), although you would still probably need SD card to launch BootMii at all.by Matoking - Homebrew General
You couldn't do it without blocking the Wii accessing the internet at all.by Matoking - Offtopic
I used an USB stick and it worked fine until I updated the program through HBB.by Matoking - Homebrew General
Funny, I used tuna's PatchMii cIOS and I could extract/install the savegames just fine using Savegame Manager. After I updated the Savegame Manager it couldn't do it anymore. Try using Savegame Manager and tona's PatchMii cIOS instead.by Matoking - Homebrew General
Restart the system and keep your fringers crossed. Good luck.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Pros : - Ability to play backups... Cons : - Could screw up your Wii with messing around IOSes when it shouldn't, causing some other stuff become impossible to install. *coughcIOSCORPcough* - Could brick your Wii - Possible unwanted behaviour - Possibly uses downgraded software, causing further problems - Is frowned upon by majority of Wii Homebrew scene And no, you don'tby Matoking - Getting Started
It works fine with my Kingston DataTraveler 8GB, although the saving takes some time on USB (4 seconds or sumthin), whereas in SD it saves the second you go to the menu. Also, the initial ROM load time is about 30-45 seconds (Mother 3) which is quite annoying.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
Could be possible. I think it just means a major MIOS rewrite/cIOS to make stuff like this possible.by Matoking - Ideas, requests
When it lags it means the CPU is heavy on the work/DVD is not being read properly/overheating/random stuff. Totally not an exploit. Buffer overflow exploit, which is used by Twilight Hack, involves making the game crash using a malformed text string/code string and loading the loader code from memory, which comes from the savegame file. At least, that's how I understand it.by Matoking - Ideas, requests
You are using something that's considered a "fail-guide" around these parts, as the installation is actually more complicated then doing it by the "official method" and as far as I see it involves using WADs, which include Nintendo's code, making it illegal. I wonder where people get ideas to use guides like that. Use this one instead :by Matoking - Getting Started
Just have the LoadMii app as the root boot.dol file and all the stuff you want on the "apps" folders. It does absolutely nothing to the system, although I would suggest installing HBC anyway.by Matoking - Getting Started
I updated it myself too. (I just updated my SD card files) Got backup'd again. Nothing different, really. Haven't tried restoring, but I'll come back at it later.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
When you start up SnesGx, select Settings and select USB as the location to load ROMs from.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
QuoteforsemThanks a lot :) Don't thank me. Give thanks to the coder. :Pby Matoking - Homebrew Applications
A fix came out just a few moments ago which seems to fix the problem.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
SmashStack is currently only compatible with US version (RSBE) Did you check that?by Matoking - Homebrew General
BGM that is loaded from SD card/USB device. There should also be an option to turn it off.by Matoking - Offtopic
DVDx has nothing to do with Snes9x, expect you can use custom DVDs. Do you have the folders set up correctly?by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
BootMii is currently only useful for NAND backups and/or restoring. It's not for cheat codes, duh.by Matoking - Homebrew General
Emulators and MPlayerCE work just fine with USB devices. (There is also an optional USB 2.0 cIOS that's compatible with MPlayerCe) Some other apps and games may not work with USB though.by Matoking - Homebrew General
Nobody likes backup-loaders here, btw. Imported games are fine. You could probably use an another updater that only updates the important aspects of system instead.by Matoking - Homebrew General
I was bored. On a more serious note, what kind of logo do you exactly want? (Specifications etc.) And I really would like to test it.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
Just a quick shot, is the write-switch thingy on the SD card set to "off"?by Matoking - BootMii Beta
