Copy the backup on the SD card to the computer and try with an another SD card or try reformatting the current one. Try rebooting when it gets recovered completely.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
You could try using different version of Bannerbomb or updating your system menu. (Bannerbomb exploit works best with the latest version I think)by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Have you installed any other stuff before the DVDx now?by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Animated or/and non-animated banner? I use Flash Pro 8 if you are asking.by Matoking - Homebrew Applications
Looking at it. It looks very early for now, the version number seems the biggest change so far. :P There could be some more changes under the hood. Let's just hope they make it possible to load apps from both USB and SD cards at the same time without the pain of taking the SD card out for the sake of loading the apps from USB stick. :P It also has a new Bootmii beta4, but not touchingby Matoking - BootMii Beta
I did try out HBC 1.0.4, "pixels" are now smoother, haven't had time to look at anything else. Not trying Bootmii, though. And by Bootmii fix I mean the fixed ppcboot file that fixed the "dump is for different Wii" bug.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
So after trying to download the BootMii fix, I found out the link was dead. So I decided to look at the root directory instead if I could find the fix there : There wasn't a fix there, but I found something else. The Hackmii Installer v 0.4 test version. ...was this even supposed to be revealed in public? I found it in accident.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Or you could probably use Preloader or something. WADs are on the most part, illegal, because they contain Nintendo's code.by Matoking - Getting Started
HBC apps use Nintendo's provided IOSes, which explains why your SD card doesn't work with BootMii (which uses it's own "bios thingy", MINI or it could be the "stub", which is in the boot2 block itself) You can also wait if they'll fix it in the next update, beta3 fixed the compatibility problem in one of my microSD cards. ;) But yeah, don't use those guides. Use onesby Matoking - Getting Started
Just load 'em from HBC. It's more stable, safe and it doesn't waste the very scarce amount of Wii system memory.by Matoking - Getting Started
- Your SD card isn't compatible/detected. You may try reformatting your SD card in a different file system and/or cluster size. If it doesn't work, try using a different SD card that's confirmed to be compatible. - The tutorial you use could be full of fail. It seems to contain instructions on how to install backup loaders, which are hated by most people here. Ohh, and the wiilby Matoking - Getting Started
Try reformatting with different cluster sizes, file systems and stuff until it works.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Not like I had done something like that. :P But yeah, be frequent with your backups.by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Hopefully that happens, so we don't have to install any cIOS stuff/downgrade crap anymore to do certain things. (USB 2.0 support/regular DVD support/NAND stuffs) Of course, it will follow with backup loaders and all that, but what we can do about them?by Matoking - BootMii Beta
I think it goes like this : Amount of points and permissions are on NAND. If you do a NAND dump and buy a Nintendo Points Card and use it, you will get points. If your Wii, homever, gets bricked before you have had chance to do a NAND dump after withdrawing the points and you restore the earlier NAND dump, you can't use your points card again. Am I right?by Matoking - BootMii Beta
Quotehoopster i deleted the channel not thinking i wouldnt get it back and i also installed cioscorp to try to get guitar hero 5 to work please :) cIOSCORP is full of fail. Instead of updating only one IOS, it overwrites all IOSes in a stupid way HackMii Installer won't recognize it correctly. Don't use it.by Matoking - Getting Started
As long as your Wii doesn't get powered off during installation, you are completely fine. (When installing in boot2, like you should) If your Wii does get powered off suddenly during installation, you could say your Wii is completely bricked. As long as you don't do any stunts by installing it during thunder storm, you will be fine.by Matoking - Getting Started
What is the game you are trying to play?by Matoking - Getting Started
The new Internet Channel is awesome, btw. It supports Flash 8 now, which means my Flash games can be played on Wii, although they are very laggy.by Matoking - Getting Started
They actually tried to fix the problem in beta3, but it actually caused a similar bug to come up. dhewg released this fix, see if it works : EDIT : It seems the link is dead. Just wait for the next update, they'd be stupid if they don't fix it in the next HackMii Installer update :P Also, there seems to be a test version of Hackmii Installer v 0.4 here : Seeing it's aby Matoking - BootMii Beta
You could probably use USB2 cIOS to speed up USB2 compatible devices, mostly hard drives, but you don't have to. Some apps may not support USB2 or USB at all. Remember, installing custom IOSes like cIOS USB2 require downgrading and all that to get it installed, so it is quite dangerous. And yes, I use USB for homebrew stuff.
