It is probably a bad bt module. If the bt module is bad -the system menu will not load -wiimote will not power on wii (must be synced) -priiloader will load -savemiifrii will load -games will not load You can try to load the HBC, then launch a game. If the game loads you should be able to sync your wiimotes at the strap screen. If the bt module is bad the game should fail to load with a bby mauifrog - FixMii
Load priiloader, go to the settings. Ensure the system ios is enabled, you want it to load on ios80. Possibly you set it to load another ios, then N updated that ios to stub. Also check your system hacks, ensure you don't have any enabled that black screen the system menu.by mauifrog - FixMii
Download the priiloader installer again. Make sure you extract all the files to the sd card. you should have sd:\apps\priiloader\boot.dol sd:\apps\priiloader\meta.xml others Then load the priiloader installer, it should load under ios58, you should see ios58 in the upper left corner of priiloader installer. If not, ensure HBC is running on ios58, ensure you have the latest HBC installed runnby mauifrog - FixMii
I assume you have boot2 bootmi. Try ohneschwanzenegger again. First make a new nand backup, from your messed up wii. Then format the new nand.bin with ohneschwanzenegger. Be sure to set your setting.txt to match your wii's region and serial number. Then install SM 4.1 with ohneschwanzenegger, let it do its thing. Once you have made the new nand.bin with ohneschwanzenegger, check it with nanby mauifrog - FixMii
Update ios30-36. You downgraded them most likely and they are crashing the installer. Have a look at sd:\installer.log. It should say running on ios58, bla bla bla, loading installer on ios##. This installer is most likely loading an older ios 30-36 and crashing because your wii is new and does not work with 3.2 ios. You can load dop-mii with letterbomb, then update ios30-36 and try again. I youby mauifrog - Homebrew General
Go into the settings and copy down your wiis mac address. Then get "Letterbomb" setup on your sd card. Put the letterbomb "Private" folder on your sd card, nothing else. Get "dop-mii v12", extract the boot.dol to sd:/. Now run the letterbomb exploit and load the boot.dol, dop-mii should load. Select an ios with permissions "trucha, es- identify, nand,", load that ios. Now do a system scan of theby mauifrog - FixMii
Load the wii into maintenance mode, then go to the wii settings and do a system format. You may want to backup important savegames first. Also ensure you do not have any priiloader hacks enabled that would give a black screen after the health screen. Do not do anything that will kill prilloader, such as re-installing the system menu. If you do reinstall the system menu ensure you reinstallby mauifrog - FixMii
Updating will replace many ios with stub ios and remove permissions which some of your homebrew may be using. You can block the update prompt from your disc games by installing priiloader and blocking disc and online updates, then you don't need to worry. You should install the lattest HBC, running on ios58 and preferably run SM 4.1. 4.2 and 4.3 are the same as 4.1 for the most part so theyby mauifrog - Homebrew General
Turn the wii off. Hold reset and power the wii on while holding reset, priiloader should load. Set the autoboot to system menu, return to system menu. If priiloader does not load, you may have issues.by mauifrog - FixMii
You need to use a standard sd card, sdhc will not work. Use another sd card, standard sd 1-2g preferably.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Is your card standard sd? SDHC will not work.by mauifrog - Getting Started
There should be a log from the hackmii installer, post that here. sd:\installer.log It may give some clues.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Quotedirtrider73068Don't think you have to have a chip for the savemiifrii, you need a gamecude controller and push all 4 of the directional buttons, and it give you a screen if that shows up then it can be fixed with a disc of a more current version of system menu than what you have. This may not be exact or how its done but thats what savemiifrii does. If you need a chip you can get aby mauifrog - FixMii
Yes I think you have a hardware issue. Only way to fix it would be to replace the AV encoder. You could get a converter box for the old tv if you want to use the wii on it.by mauifrog - FixMii
Try one of these bootmii_folder-NTSC.zip bootmii_folder-PAL.rar They work, so if you have issue it could be your bootmii. When you boot the wii without dvd or sd or usb in the wii you should see two quick flashes from the blue led drive light. If it only flashes once, you don't have bootmii. If you have priiloader/preloader you could use that. You load priiloader by holding reset anby mauifrog - FixMii
If you are using composite cable, try component. If you are using component cables, try composite. Not sure, but you could have a dead av encoder. I am sure you did, but make sure you have the wires connected properly.by mauifrog - FixMii
I should have mentioned this sooner, but if you run a game update with 3.4+ it should fix your issue with the hackmii installer freezing. It is most likely freezing because you have downgraded ios30-36 on a newer wii, this will crash the installer every time. Running the 3.4 update should update ios30-36 and allow you to install HBC on ios34, then you can fix ios58 from the HBC and reinstall theby mauifrog - FixMii
I never said it was free or easy, just that it can be fixed. I will add an edit, only error 003 ntsc-u/pal wiis can be fixed with smash stack. Error 003 ntsc-j wiis can only be fix if an ios running a game has the trucha bug. Sorry for the mis-information, but most error 003 wiis are sol.by mauifrog - Homebrew General
I did not know that gc could be backed up without any privilages, good to know. I posted because I love to talk to you, it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling, I love you.by mauifrog - Getting Started
You probably need AHBPROT or cios to backup your gc saves, so you will likely need to install the HBC, possibly more than that. I don't know if AHBPROT is used by those apps, they may run on ios249, not sure.by mauifrog - Getting Started
Reinstall ios30-36 and ios58. Then run the hackmii installer again. You can do this without the HBC, but there are a few extra steps. "Hackmii -FIX: no vulnerable ios, black screen, scam freeze"by mauifrog - FixMii
Try to get into the settings with maintenance mode. Turn on the wii, hold + - and the health screen, then press A while holding + -. See if that gets you into your settings. If that does not help you can try to reinstall your system ios, system menu, and priiloader.by mauifrog - FixMii
If you look at sd:\installer.log you should see the installer loading and running on an ios. Then you will probably see the installer reload to another ios, likely ios30-36, then it hangs. This happens when ios30-36 have been downgraded on newer wii hardware. Try to install updated versions of ios30-36 and ios58, then run the installer again.by mauifrog - Getting Started
You should not downgrade. If you wish to change the region of your wii you can do so, but you don't need to downgrade. Just install system ios 60/70/80, install elua channel for your region, install region select for your region, then install system menu for your region 4.1/4.2/4.3, I vote for 4.1. Then install priiloader. Then load ARC and change the settings to your new region. Do all of tby mauifrog - FixMii
You can fix it by running smash stack pal from RM via savemiifrii. Use Disc Swap PWNS or Mario Kart PWNS to load Super Smash Bros Brawl from the recovery menu. To fix the wii you must install ios60-v6174 into ios slot 70 and 80. For more details read this- Guide: How to fix Korean 4.2 error: 003 unauthorized device has been detectedby mauifrog - FixMii
AFAIK Dop-mii does not edit sysconf or setting.txt to do any region changes. Perhaps that has recently changed, but I don't think so. Don't use ARC to install the system menu, you don't wan't to downgrade to 3.2. ARC requires ios36 to have es-identify. The only wiibrew supported method to restore es-identify to ios36 is to install ios36-v1042. If ARC hangs when you load it,by mauifrog - Homebrew General
If savemiifrii is working you can fix the wii using Smash Stack. Load Smash Stack using Disc Swap PWNS or Mario Kart PWNS, then fix the wii. Also consider that your bluetooth module may be broken are been dislodged when you put it in the gym bag. If you have a wiimote that is synced to the wii, this wiimote should power the wii on. If does not power the wii on the bt module is probably bad orby mauifrog - FixMii
If you have boot2 bootmii, use it to reinstall system ios70. If you don't have boot2 bootmii and your wii is under warranty, send it to Nintendo. FYI, you have voided your warranty, so....., bricked wii for you is a bricked wii for them. If you have no warranty, and no boot2 bootmii only nand reprogramming can help you. You can only reprogram the nand if your wii is old and supports boot2by mauifrog - FixMii
