I'm following the how-to, but I dumb enough to not know how modify the IOS60, neither what is an NAND FS backup (it's a unencrypted dump of the NAND, with the file system and directories and stuff, right? How can I create this kind of dump?) Some help would be cool. And some comments about how Sneek is running in your Wii would be cool too. =Dby DanielHueho - Offtopic

QuoteArikadoSo because the PS3 Hardware is infinitely better than the 360's (again, 360 still doesn't have wifi - you have to buy a $100 adapter) Yeah, the WiFi stuff is lame. But if you consider techinical specs, PS3 and Xbox360 aren't really much different. In fact, the green box is better (more RAM and better VGA). But I guess you wasn't talking about this kind of stuff =by DanielHueho - Offtopic
PS3 is future-proof. It can become useless as an game console, but will survive pretty well as an media center (with much thanks to the Blu-Ray disc) Quoteninjafish1990Xbox 360 for overpriced live that you actually have to pay for... no other system requires you to buy internet twice... 60 bucks for year? Quotealainvey Also, would extracting the rom from a VC game count as a legal backup method? Perhaps not, given that we don't technically "own" VC games. Good point. I guess you only have the right to play the ROM, but you don't actually own it. Which is not the same case when you consider old game cartridges... Even because at the cartridge era, rules and the way of think were differby DanielHueho - Offtopic

I hope this doesn't be too much offtopic for here (feel free to delete it, mods!), but I just have to ask: What do you think about it, folks? (Personally, I kinda of didn't like it at all)by DanielHueho - Offtopic
This is an WII HOMEBREW forum, that's why your topic is being deleted. Even thought about: A. Being polite? B. Posting at the offtopic section?by DanielHueho - Offtopic

Quotemetroid_maniacExcept you have to leave the Indiana Pwns save file on the Wii to fix the brick. Exactly like Twilight Hack. I still have it in my Wii for some unknown reason =P QuoteSifJar And have a modchip, and a ripped ISO of the game. (to autoboot a game, you must burn it, having modified the ISO slightly). For some reason, I think Indy Pwns will last even longer than the Twilight Hack (we are talking about a 3rd party game, maybe there are some issues to solve before just releasing a update to block it). Also, there is a hell of a nice reason to use this thing: it works as an last resource to fix a brick if you don't have Preloader or BootMii as boot2. Together with SaveMii, you can autobooby DanielHueho - Offtopic

QuotefatquackIn GRRLib readme file, it quite explicitly states it is not released under any license. Sorry, I was wrong... Never know GRRlib was public domain :/ Anyway, there is still the issue about 7-zip. But moreover, it's easy to fix... Again, I'm sorry. The program is very nice!by DanielHueho - Coding
Great, is not fake. But you absolutely can't sell this, for now, because you're violating some copyright. You are using GRRlib and 7-Zip files. You NEED to include their respective licenses (GPL and LGPL, respectively). Also, if you did any change to any of the libraries you are using, you need to release the source code of the modifications, as a requeriment of the GPL license. Therby DanielHueho - Coding

QuoteSifJarStill, kinda odd it wont use trucha bugged IOS. Is it because pirates usually have trucha bugged IOS or something? Twizzers said they won't be bothering with anti-piracy measures... They just avoid to contribute to it.by DanielHueho - Offtopic
My theory: 1. The new exploit they are using has sometihng to do with the trucha bug fix 2. The new exploit is safer than original trucha method 3. They choose to not use the trucha approach anymore, and now the installer ignores bugged IOS, because if it picked such IOSes and use the new method, probably something would be fucked up.by DanielHueho - Offtopic
