Quotebg4545QuoteemukididThere's nothing new, don't bother testing? :) Well with 10 new revisions I assumed something changed =] yeah i can't blame you! Hopefully sometime soon we'll have something noticeably for you to play with.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications

QuoteDanielHueho (Seriously, we can expect some good improvement from now, since with the PS3 recompiler, tehpola can track bugs and issues faster than debugging the Wii recompiler) Yeah, it is making debugging much faster/easier :) Regarding the rumours of a "Xmas release", we are actually on a break for the next few days .. because, yes, we've been working on it non-stop in the last wby emukidid - Homebrew Applications
QuotestrongfanWii64 is the suckiest thing I've ever seen in my life. Then stop using it or asking for updates. kthxbye.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
it wouldn't help, we're not just drawing a bunch of 2D sprites, there's a lot of 3D calculations involved which you cannot skip.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
Enough off topic guys.. Just dropping by to let you all know that Wii64 / WiiSX now has an official home at www.EmulateMii.com. It's a website run entirely by the Wii64Team (myself included), plus it will have in-depth updates on the status of the emulator and it's progress.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
Quotebobstar89Looks like the Dev's are up to the hard stuff, they haven't updated in days. Couldn't be more correct. (Plus real life is busy for us all more than ever now)by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
Quotebg4545QuoteemukididJust to clear things up .. r448 made no difference what-so-ever to anything in the emulator .. I'm not sure how you manage to get better results with it, considering the code didn't change at all in the builds that you are concerned with :P it may have been that i used the GLN64_dev_wii one No, that has nothing to do with it, it's exactly the same code asby emukidid - Homebrew Applications

FF7 dies on the first battle. This is the issue which is spread across many games that we are trying to resolve.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
QuoteArikadoI tried Castlevania Symphony of the Night as a .bin on r57. The game's title screen reads push start button. But when I do on the player 1 gamecube controller, nothing happens. It doesn't appear to be registering the button press. Am I doing something wrong? Are you NTSC? It works fine for me (NTSC game on PAL).by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
QuoteDrLucky Hello Emukidid, Would videos of my tests be helpful? Or have I been documenting the tests well so far? All of my previous tests have been on R.47 so far... And, have there been any major changes for R. 57? Lastly, should I re-try the games I have already listed with the new release or test new games? R47 is the same in the area I'm concerned about, so testing with thatby emukidid - Homebrew Applications
Providing crash screens would be very helpful. Please mention: Revision Number: Rxxx Game: Point in game that crashes: What is supposed to happen at or just after that point: example: Revision Number: R57 Game: Driver 1 Point in game that crashes: Load screen just before in-game What is supposed to happen at or just after that point: Load is supposed to complete and display some 3D.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
The changes in the last few SVN revisions have nothing to do with the issue you have seen before. 16MB free means that MEM2 is being used incorrectly from our point of view because the stack is being allocated from the top of MEM2. With that being said, the stack will eventually become corrupt and the program will crash.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
The FPS of the official build will be the same as the current one if we release it in a rush. If we get the major part of it done we'll be seeing games at full FPS or very close to it. We're still fighting with bugs in our implementation so the ETA on the next official build really depends on how many more bugs we need to get rid of before we have a working dynamic recompiler.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
I am right. The build isn't even proper.. If it was built properly it should have had a lot less memory but at the same time, crashed a lot less. This time, please wait for a official build.by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
Can someone who used the build by dcelso tell me how much "free memory" there was whilst playing a game? (I think he built it incorrectly which is why you're all seeing such terrible issues with the emulator randomly exiting to the menu and crashing, hence why we don't like unofficial builds)by emukidid - Homebrew Applications
If you're talking about doing this on the Wii via libOGC, then it's a matter of learning to use the CARD functions, otherwise if it's on PC, it's just a matter of getting the picture out of the file and decoding it to a desired format. In either case, check 12.3.1 in YAGCD for offsets and other information.by emukidid - Coding
