Ah thanks for that I will have to try it later. Believe it or not, I actually did try and do research but I guess I was looking in the wrong places. Sorry for any dumbness.by nights - Homebrew Applications
Well I had homebrew a long time ago before stupidly deleting to update. Luckily enough, I managed to get it back using Smash Stack on 4.3e and have think I have BootMii installed as IOS and Boot2. Question is, if any type of brick occurs, will I be okay? I haven't dumped my NAND to my SD card yet (not enough mem) so do I need to do this to be safe or is it okay because BootMii loads up beforby nights - Getting Started
Just a quick question really, I'm trying to get a game (I own) running on Wii SX and everything seems too work fine but not so long into the game it crashes which ends in me having to hold the power button for a couple of seconds for it too turn off. The game in question is Silent Hill which I read on the compatible list is playable. Would this be the emulator or the game? Also, is there a wby nights - Homebrew Applications
Hey people, haven't been on here in a while so I was interested in knowing how BootMii is coming along. I know I could google it or whatever but i'm to tired at the moment :P and obviously people on here have used it, if it's able to use yet. So yeah, any help would be appreciated.by nights - Getting Started
Well I just downloaded Wii64 from the Homebrew browser but it won't let me move on the menu? I've tried different Wiimotes, tryed using the Nuchuck but nothing happens? Any help?by nights - Homebrew Applications
Just wondering how hard would it be to make one? I wish I knew how to but I don't have the slightest clue in progamming. Man I love to play my good old Shenmue again. Thanks.by nights - Homebrew General

Also has Homebrew installed! I was quite surprised and it was interesting having a little chat about it with him. What would now make it funnier if you was on the forum and read this haha. Just thought I would let you know :D.by nights - Offtopic
QuoteArikadoThe 3) and 4) issues as well as a few others are caused by preloader and possibly some modchips as well. Number 3 happens to me even though I have not installed Preloader (not sure what it is either) and I don't have a modchip.by nights - FixMii
Could you try Monster Rancher please?by nights - Homebrew Applications
Quotebg4m3rIf you agree to what? The only way you'll get prompted with the new EULA is if you ARE updating. SInce you've had Wiiconnect24 on, you've already agreed to an EULA and you won't have to agree to another unless you update. Also, I believe that 3.4 has been checked out and no one has found any code to indicate that auto updating is in there, so the only feasible riskby nights - Getting Started
Oh right thanks guys! Does anyone know when BootMii will be released? Is is Team Twizers working on it and how is the progress coming along.by nights - Getting Started
Sorry but I know have another thread about Wiiconnect24. I am right in beliveing that on 3.3, Nintendo can't automatically update you but 3.4 can? I did turn off Wiiconnect24 and tbh would like it back. So am I right in thinking that if I agree, it will update me to 3.4? Thanks for help guys, really appreciate it!by nights - Getting Started
Basically I'm wondering if there is an app that can help in un-bricking (god forbid) my Wii. I've noticed Preloader and bootmii come up a few times, but after checking out Preloader on Wiibrew apps it says I shouldn't mess with it if I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just finding games and Emulators and installing them correctly, so I shouldn't really get bricby nights - Getting Started
Quotejassim3.3v1 or 3.3v2? if 3.3v2 then you MIGHT have to install the 3.4 one but im not entirely sure. if you have a modchip make sure youve installed patchmii Well I'm not sure, but I tried the 3.4 one and success, it worked!by nights - Homebrew Applications
Yep it worked thank you!by nights - Homebrew Applications
When I try installing it after downloading DVDx from the homebrew browser it says error 20*cant remember rest* installing stub. I'm on 3.3 and plan on using MplayerWii. Should I try DVDx 3.4? Anyhelp guys?by nights - Homebrew Applications
Okay so I followed the instructions on how to set it up etc, but it doesn't load for me. I installed the Supersonic Folder into my apps folder and installed the data file to the root of my SD card. When I try and play it, it loads up and then comes to some sceen showing who made the game (I think) and reboots it back to homebew channel. Any help guys?by nights - Homebrew Applications
Okay so I've read different things about having it on. Basically I turned mine off, but I really like having the forecast channel etc on. I'm using 3.3E by the way. Is it safe for me to turn in back on now? It comes up saying I have to read the rules etc and I noticed something saying about non-nintendo programmes etc blah-blah (I can't really remember what it said). Everything has went well and I now have the Homebrew Channel. Just one more question though. Is it ok to leave WiiConnect24 on now that I have it? I am using FW 3.3E. Thanks.by nights - Getting Started
Oh thanks people, now I feel more confident in doing thiss. The main reason I was afraid is because techniqually it is'nt my Wii (even though Im the one who buys games, and accesories such as the LED fan stand, and sort of modded the case.). Will I be able to delete the twilight hack of my SD card and memory after I have installed the HBC? Also have any of you people have changed the Diskby nights - Getting Started
Just a few more questions: Is every app safe? Say when I get the homebrew channel, and then I get that app where I can view all other apps, can I delete the stuff on my SD card and where will the apps that I installed be?by nights - Getting Started
Okay so I am really interested in getting the homebrew channel but need some questions answered first. 1. Can it mess you Wii up? And is it safe? 2. Is a 1gig wii SD card ok? 3. I heard that you won't be able to play online with Mario Kart etc, does this also mean the internet channel? 4. Once you have got the hombrew channel do you need to have individual apps on you sd card andby nights - Getting Started
