Don't you think it would be a better idea to tell him rather than us since, you know, he will notice the issue and fix it? Same goes for any bugfix request posted on this forum.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications

What was that supposed to mean? You won't see developers trying to emulate the Genesis 3, but rather the original model that had better compatibility, so I don't really get what you're trying to defend.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
QuotevaguerantI also understand that this would break the aspect ratio correction done by Snes9x GX, but I don't mindWell... I hope everybody else does mind about that. Emulators with wrong aspect ratio are so 90's. =Pby ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
GBA emulation on the Wii can sometimes barely run at full speed, so imagine running two or four emulated systems at once. You're better off downloading the free Four Swords Annversary Edition for the DSi/3DS... if it's still for free.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
Needless to say, I can help testing the official 3 and 6 button pads and Arcade Sticks if this goes through.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
Now I just hope somebody could point eke-eke and Tantric to this topic... They're usually cool about adding useful features, so I hope they consider this. :)by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
I guess a provisional solution could be adding USB keyboard support, and doing what Matthias_H initially suggested. =\by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
I guess no progress has been done on this, since then?by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew General
None of these emulators have USB keyboard support.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
QuoteNukey_ShayQuoteICEknigh7Then it really is the emulator's fault, since it's supposed to act like the actual hardware...Not really. For the program to work as intended, it relies on the system allowing something that it's not supposed to. So an emulator correctly replicating the "accident" would have two options: either allow the faulty programming to work (in which case a LOTby ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
So I just got a brand new Retrode 2 and it works wonders for loading the ROMs stored inside the original cartridges, but as far as I know there's no emulator (or official game, for that matter) that supports reading controller input from the Wii's USB ports and, by extension, from the Retrode. I've noticed that the controllers do receive some signal when connected to it, as theby ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
Nukey_Shay has just said that it works in actual hardware, if you didn't read it.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
QuoteNukey_ShayThe problem with Koolaid Man is not the emulator's fault, really. Those are written based off the TIA design specs. The collision detection bug is a problem in the original game's program code - it's been described as a "happy accident" that it works at all on actual hardwareThen it really is the emulator's fault, since it's supposed to act like the actuaby ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
Quotebg4545QuoteICEknigh7It would indeed be interesting to see that simulated with the Wiimote's rumble and the internal speaker. Homebrew can't use the Wii remote's speaker. Yes, it can. This is a real issue with some emulators that's always ignored but should really be addressed. There is indeed some input lag in a lot of emulators for Wii, that causes the experience not to be as fluid as it should. Regardless of what some may think, it's not because of faulty controllers, nor because of screen lag due to bad flat TVs; I've been experiencing the same lag withby ICEknigh7 - Homebrew General
It did vibrate and make a noise each time you pressed or released the trigger, due to the mechanical parts involved, though. It would indeed be interesting to see that simulated with the Wiimote's rumble and the internal speaker.by ICEknigh7 - Homebrew Applications
