Sorry if these answers are obvious. Also assuming you're on Windows here. 1. Check your firewall is not blocking TightVNC (port 5900) and you're running TightVNC server, right ? On Windows Start > Programs > TightVNC > Launch TightVNC Server. 2. Check you IP on windows, Start > Run - type cmd, in the commnd prompt type ipconfig, mke sure the IPv4 address is what yoby scanff - Homebrew Applications

Quotegiantpuneno? what about ocarina and wiird? wiird already knows where to find the frame buffer, because you can take screenshots with it. so it shouldnt be too much trouble to write a ocarina code to reverse it. its just the fact that nobody that knows how to do it has done it yet. no it's probably never going to happen. I'm really excited about this and want to add Mii's to my projects. The problem being most of them are SDL based, so having said that. Are you planning to release source so it would be possible to do this? Or, even if you are planning a close source project could I offer my skills to create a version for SDL? Thanks :)by scanff - Testing Corner
Just tested it. Works well, all the mii's look good on my system.by scanff - Testing Corner

typedef struct { string First; string Last; int Account; int *Contacts; } client_type; If Contacts is pointing to another struct the data type should be the struct not a pointer to an int. If you don't know what it is you can do a void* and cast it back later. You can try this, I'm not sure it true C code as I'm more C++ myself, typedef struct { int Countby scanff - Coding
I needed a user name for a forum years back but had a brain fart. I was coding at the time and just decided to use scanf, I then thought I needed a variation so added another "f" thus scanff and you all thought it was a typo :P If I'd just given myself a minute to think I probably could have come up with a handful of better more distinct user names but oh well it would just cause confusby scanff - Offtopic

QuoteWikiFSXWhoever said DVD Video is 720p, it isn't. The highest horizontal resolution supported is 720, but the highest vertical resolution is 576, giving a maximum resolution of 576p. Twas me. I stand corrected. Here's a pretty good break down for someone interested,by scanff - Ideas, requests

Sure you've got devkitppc r19. The tools changed from powerpc-gekko* to powerpc-eabi* in version 18. Like Arikado said reinstall with r19.by scanff - Coding
QuotegroupedixWell we've got no luck I guess... I've made some research on chroma and luma frequency, and Iunderstand now why it is impossible, since 480p's frequency is 27mhz... So even if we trick the tv to think that the signal is 720p, nothing will be displayed.. You could buy the HD Wii whenever it's released :)by scanff - Ideas, requests

Quotelopaka311tried that it came up with an error and had to unplug my wii to get it to reboot Are you running it off the SD card or USB stick/drive?by scanff - Homebrew Applications
74.25mhz is the pixel clock frequency, how fast chroma and luma are sent to the TV. The speed is faster than 480p because there's more pixels to send, 720p expects 1280x720. Like I said you're only ever going to get 720x480 resolution from the Wii so the scaling is done on your TV. I'm really not sure what you could do to improve the blur, other than a better TV. Hey I''m about 90% done with porting WoW to the Wii. I let you know when I have a demo!! Daid - Cool, let me know when you have HL2 working, I'd love to play it on Wii. :) :) Edit: In all seriousness have you tried playing WoW over WiiVNC, with a small resolution on the PC it may be somewhat playable.by scanff - The Junkyard
I highly doubt it. The video encoder on the Wii would have to support HD speeds I think 720p is 74.25Mhz. I don't think you'd get any improvement anyway, it's your TV that's up-scaling and causing the blur. I assume you're using the component into your TV?by scanff - Ideas, requests

I've never used GRRLIB but what you're trying to do looks pretty simple. The source of GRRLIB is included and is better than any documentation.
