Hãããã... Please, can someone explain what is going on so far? NUSD is open-source. And it uses C#. Isn't easier to recompile the source with Mono libraries within a PPC environment?by DanielHueho - Ideas, requests
I wonder why... Doesn't HackMii installer (also) uses the trucha bug? Since the only thing Dop-IOS does is patch the bug fix, why the incompatibility?by DanielHueho - Offtopic
A IOS catz T-Shirt would be cool =Dby DanielHueho - Offtopic
I hope this doesn't sounds too stupid... But really, get another processor (or maybe another PC). Even if you overclock it, your P4 looks like one from the first generation, and they are pretty crappy to run any modern game. If you are going to do OC anyway, I would recommend to not go too far from 2.4 GHz, if is possible. If you raise the speed too much, the processor will melt...by DanielHueho - Offtopic
/\ /\ /\ So it doesn't actually "emulate" a NAND, rather than redirect few NAND calls to load stuff from SD... (at least, so far)by DanielHueho - Offtopic
Cool! But maybe a little too big... =Pby DanielHueho - Offtopic
Thanks Arikado... Hmmm, I always thought NotDVDX used some different exploit, because of that IOS35 downgrade feature... QuoteArikadoRegarding Twiizers new method to install fakesigned content: It's extremely simple pure genius only Twiizers could come up with. As long as the Wii has at least one IOS, the method isn't going anywhere. However, it can not be applied to boot1. Wow O_by DanielHueho - Offtopic
Well, actually, the trucha bug is simply the only public exploit avaiable, but behind the scenes, there is at least two more exploits not revealed (one from comex and one from Twizzers, used in the Hackmii Installer...)by DanielHueho - Offtopic
There's no way to load HBC from a SD card with BootMii. What probably happened is when you loaded HBC from the SD menu, the channel were transfered to Wii NAND. Then BootMii become able to launch it. But if you load another channel from SD, HBC will be gone again.by DanielHueho - Offtopic

Should I believe that? Not really. This looks mainly as an nice photoedit of some random screenshot of Game Maker.by DanielHueho - Coding
Oh, I saw it now... I must be getting blind. O_Oby DanielHueho - Offtopic
The only thing I know is Dop-IOS didn't brick my Wii =D EDIT: back to the topic... Any good, adventurous soul will test this? =Pby DanielHueho - Offtopic
Offtopic: QuoteGBAFail page5. When Dip-IOS, 10 lines of bricking code, is regarded as amazing. I felt stupid after this one XD I used Dip(or Dop)-IOS when it hitted the wiki to install the Shop Channel IOSes and it worked really fine... Ontopic: QuoteArikadoHonestly, I fail to see what GBATemp could even do to "improve" it. Everything is possible. Wait for a GUI, at least... (Althought,by DanielHueho - Offtopic
/\ /\ /\ I wasn't talking about the guide itself, but rather about all the fail guides in the world. There loads of them around the internet, since a long time ago. Does that guy, of this guide, sell anything that he didn't created? No? So whatever... (But since that guide is hosted at Google, and Google is against piracy apology, yeah, that guy has some trouble =P)by DanielHueho - Offtopic
Uhhh, sorry, but is he selling anything? Free fail guides are so common and old...by DanielHueho - Offtopic
That isn't good... I give two days to GBATemp come with an new "solution".by DanielHueho - Offtopic
QuoteSifJarNintendo didn't see the need to make the Wii's drive compatible with CDs because a CD would be too small for a Wii game, and they probably didnt want to have to pay for licensing for a CD player, like with DVD. Err, not really. Wii Sports, when dumped, is about 400MB of size...by DanielHueho - Offtopic
QuoteWiiBrew articleYou need a Wii Remote and a USB keyboard. The C: drive will automatically be mounted to sd:/DOSBox/ if loaded from apps/dosbox-wii/. Otherwise, the directory the dol is loaded from will be mounted as C, and sd:/DOSBox as D (if present). The Z: driver is a virtual drive that is part of DOSBox. Other drives can be mounted using the MOUNT command. Prefix sd: for an SD card,by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
1. Buy a new Wii 2. Never use "fail" downgrades again. Nevertheless, your main problem was, you don't have a trucha signed IOS. And now, with all that fail, probably you will never be able to solve the issues. EDIT: Channel File Manager? Why people don't stick with that old, good apps?by DanielHueho - The Junkyard
Short question: is there any way to run a Wii-linux-based app (like SDL-mame, Kobo Deluxe or -my main interest- GeexBox) using Mike? If yes, how can I boot them?by DanielHueho - Homebrew General
You should mount the game folder, not the game executable. After that, change to the D:\ drive and then start the game.by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
I always thought that DS emulator are kind of pointless... =/ But anyway, this was already discussed on the foruns. And:by DanielHueho - Offtopic
What about WiiSee? Or maybe just a simple "Wii SD Browser"? Or FileMii? (BTW, the Wiiphile joke was just bad =/ )by DanielHueho - Ideas, requests
Sorry, I forget to mention that: To change to another drive, just type the drive letter.by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
I liked it, just need a bit of polish at the menu and at the interface (it's not very intuitive)by DanielHueho - Homebrew Applications
QuoteflyguySifjar said that in order to get rid of piracy you must remove cIOS, but that would also rid us of some great legal apps cIOS 249? The mainly used for piracy? Yep. But cIOS 202? No... In fact, Dop-IOS and startpatch only relies on IOS249 because they install stuff into the NAND, but the same can be accomplished with any trucha-bugged IOS. I don't really know why they useby DanielHueho - Offtopic
