I been trying to add some new pages for a few new apps not yet listed on WiiBrew, and after putting in the simple math question it always gives me this error: Is this a general error with the wiki interface right now, or is it an issue on my end?by corey89 - Feedback & Support
So I discovered there was an open source X68000 emulator around when researching some games today, and wondered if it would be possible to port a Wii emu from it or if it's relying too heavily on Windows? For those who are not familiar, X68000 is a Japanese only computer system that boasted some incredible arcade ports and exclusive games, including Akumajo Dracula (which was recently relby corey89 - Ideas, requests
@Arikado Just curious if you started working on the port of Reality Boy, I remember you mentioned you had started coding something some time ago.by corey89 - Ideas, requests
DAPHNE is an open source emulator for the old 3DO and Arcade laserdisc games like Dragon's Lair and Mad Dog McCree games. While some of these have been released on Wii, most aren't available except on clunky DVD versions, so this emulator would work well with the Wii remote. Maybe someone with some coding know how could look at it?by corey89 - Ideas, requests
We already have ports (though incomplete) of Another World and Flashback, and there is a open source version of Heart of the Alien, the sequel to Another World. Maybe someone would be interested to port this game to so you can play another fantastic game on the homebrew channel?by corey89 - Ideas, requests
I think the best would be Reality Boy, which is open source. It runs with a 90% compatibility rate. However recently Mednafen added VB support and they have 100% compatibility, so I dunno if you could take some code to optimize a wii port. There's more info on the different alternatives here.by corey89 - Ideas, requests
Over at another forum, the idea of a Virtual Boy emulator came up, and it sounds like a really cool idea. There are a bunch of emulators out there that are open source for the system, and most of them feature settings which lets you modify the 3D settings so that it works with different kind of goggles, or just plain 2D gaming. It also has some very good games that would work great on a TV, and tby corey89 - Ideas, requests

Recently there was an announcement of a new Mega Man WAD being made for Doom Judging by the info out there now, will this run on the current port or do we need one of the other Doom engine loaders ported? Here's the WAD announcement and infoby corey89 - Offtopic
New version out thanks to toad king! QuoteToad King After a week of messing around, I've not only gotten it to play some games, but at pretty good speed as well! It might not be very useful, but I uploaded a customized build. You can try it out here: And the sources: Okay, this thing is nowhere near close to being release-quality, so there is a lot of quirks in the software.by corey89 - Homebrew Applications
I think Picodrive is open source and supports 32X and CD, so one could potentially port it over to wiiby corey89 - Ideas, requests
I spoke to the coder of OpenBOR Wii a few days ago actually, this is what he said QuoteKungPOWLately, I've tried to pitch this to the main coders over at lavalit.com but they don't seem to have an interest of doing an official port for the Wii. After looking at the advancements myself, I can only hope that Tantric will consider porting the engine over.by corey89 - Ideas, requests
I hope to see a frontend solution some day, maybe by using XML configuration or something. Or automatically save the settings after you run a game first timeby corey89 - Homebrew Applications
No, it was ported to PSX Under the name Castlevania Chronicles Rondo of Blood was ported to PSP, that's the PCE gameby corey89 - Ideas, requests
There is an open source emulator for the X68 which is generally seen as the best choice emulator the machine, the XM6. For those who don't know, X68 is a japanese computer that is most known for it's arcade perfect home ports, and also an exclusive Castlevania game, though it was later ported to PSX. Maybe someone would wanna give it a shot and port it to Wii? The website to theby corey89 - Ideas, requests
SDL Mame is outdated and hardly works beyond the late 80's in terms of game compatibility, I was asking more if there is any talk or interest in updating the ports like SNES9X and FCEUby corey89 - Ideas, requests
So it's been strangely quiet in the world of emulation on Wii lately, and there's still one important area of classic gaming which isn't yet available, being the Arcade. Has there been any rumblings or interest elsewhere about doing arcade emulation on Wii, or is it right now no general interest in doing such a project? Any word if Tantric or someone is planning any progress onby corey89 - Ideas, requests
It's missing some sound expansion emulation, but the rest seems to work fine for meby corey89 - Homebrew Applications

What was the Sega CD emulator on Xbox 1 based on? I think it was called neogenesis or something, and ran many games more or less full speedby corey89 - Homebrew Applications
Do you guys think we will say Sega CD emulated on wii? I know the coder of Genesis Plus GX has said a few times that we shouldn't hold our breath for it, but the same was said about pc engine cd and that popped up and was well done in record time. Of course keeping in mind they are 2 seperate systems, it was said we shouldn't hold our breaths for that either in Hu-Go.by corey89 - Homebrew Applications
Hermes released a new emulator for PC Engine with full cd support! Release Thread Sadly, the 2 cds i got that i tried out, had a 5-10 second delay on the audio (noticeable during the opening of Rondo of Blood) and some sound effects seems to be missing. If anyone figures out a solution on these issues, share them!by corey89 - Homebrew Applications
