The bootmii folder contains everything that bootmii needs, if you want bootmii to work with that card then keep the folder there. 2GB SD cards should work with the Wii console, support for SDHC cards has been included in the 4.0 System Menu update which supposedly extends the support to 32 gigabytes.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
If you already downloaded DevKitPPC then you already have it. Look in your $DEVKITPPC/bin.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
I'm quite sure that you can only really brick your console from updates from other regions. Starfall and Preloader both have hacks to stop disc updates, but Starfall only works in 3.2 and Preloader has a brick risk. You can also run the disc from Gecko OS as a workaround.by OboeNerd - Offtopic
Ah, I gotta read posts before speaking. I'm so sorry about that. An import PAL version is all I can really think of right now, modding the console and running the NTSC hack on a PAL console would probably end up in a full brick.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
HBC or a downgrade shouldn't affect a game's performance.by OboeNerd - Homebrew General
Quotejbboy4I'm currently using Ocarina, because I can't find a link for a .elf to .dol converter.... This is probably what you're looking for. Works for me. Quotejbboy4do u know where ican find some codes other then usbgecko? because othre then that, idk where to find some....; What would you mean by that?by OboeNerd - Homebrew General
That's some weird things happening. Is your system modded?by OboeNerd - FixMii
Really? I seem to be screwing around with myself. Then again, I normally downgrade the console to get Starfall working before I swap the region anyways. The downgrade process probably screwed up somewhere in the middle, giving you those problems, I suggest you downgrade again using something other than youtube - that way you have a proper written reference instead of a cheap video made in soby OboeNerd - Getting Started
I'm quite sure the WiiSpeak has its IOS, thing is I don't have one so I'm not that willing to investigate. Sorry. If I were you, I'd look around.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
Yes, you're right that AnyRegion cannot downgrade to 3.2, thanks to the PatchMii block, but it still can alter certain region settings such as the region of the DVD Drive, the system language and others. At least that's what I recall from using it last time. I believe the setting that would help fix this is the Console Video Mode, that is if I understand the situation properly.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
Nintendo's not dumb enough to intentionally brick consoles, otherwise they'd lose a lot of money to lawsuits and financial damage. They'd also lose my respect. And if the automatic updates worked, it would have happened a long time ago. Doesn't seem that much of a threat. The only people who are really harmful to Nintendo are the pirates, the rest of us shouldn'tby OboeNerd - Homebrew General
As of now, the closest you can get is Preloader, which has quite a big risk as it is.by OboeNerd - Getting Started
I know tons of people who semi-brick their consoles, and I end up fixing it for them. My last resort is the AnyRegion Changer, as dangerous as it is it does its job. Of course, most of these people are software pirates, so they really don't deserve the fix.... I normally see this problem when PAL output goes to an NTSC screen. EDIT: And so far 3.5 is only in Korea, supposedly theirby OboeNerd - Getting Started
