I haven't made much of an effort to figure out what the JS on the page actually does, but it doesn't look particularly friendly. I lol'd at these, though (won't crash you): http://crediar.no-ip.com/index.htm http://crediar.no-ip.com/index.html JS: var str = unescape("%u4141%u4141"); var str2 = unescape("%u0000%u0000"); var finalstr2 = mul8(str2, 49000000); varby PhoenixTank - Offtopic
I'd think that looking through the wiiuse headers in devkitpro/libogc would probably be wise.by PhoenixTank - Coding
Quotejbc007If you want to copy the saves now, just install Tona's cIOS and use the origional Save Game Manager. Or install Startpatch or Priiloader. Either of those will be easiest, since they will allow you to copy the saves through the system menu just like those without the no copy flag. I'd say this, but instead of priiloader/startpatch, use Banana Patcher. Works like the other twby PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
Quotedirtrider73068Well My question would be, what specific files are you needing? If its bannerbomb, and hackmii installer, how are you going to delete them from the sd card once you have used the files? There has to be a good reason or this is just some kind of scam, or maybe a troll. WiiXplorer would do the job once HBC was up and running.by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
I googled since I was somewhat interested. Might be useful. I pretty much just skimmed it.by PhoenixTank - Coding
I'd guess he means HTTP1.1. That aside, I was experimenting with this a week or two ago and it didn't quite work as I'd expect. For some reason, the GET/POST needs to have an absolute URL when dealing with shared hosting (most servers), even when specifying HTTP1.1 and a host. Give that a shot.by PhoenixTank - Coding

As a heads up... fairly early on with my UK launch Wii, my disc drive made grinding noises. Then the noises stopped (out of nowhere) and for quite a while, all was good. Last month, my Wii stopped reading dual layer DVD games (in the middle of a brawl, no less), and then a week or two later refused to play any disc games. I'm now waiting to find out whether I'll get slapped with a reby PhoenixTank - Offtopic
I meant that the simple libogc example hasn't got anything in it that should interfere with the debugging. The fleshing out referred to making it bigger than just the existing printf =) Can't see any reason that insight needs any special treatment - the version that comes with devkitpro used to work, at least. That said, they updated the naming recently... and the insight file still sby PhoenixTank - Coding
Maybe the set up I have in Eclipse is more tolerant of bad packets. Tried fleshing out the libogc example with some more text output and "debugging" that?by PhoenixTank - Coding

QuotepokeglobeI was going to buy a USBGecko... The site is just a SUCCESS Page. What happend to USBgecko? It was weird, and I'm not 100% on it myself. Nuke started redesigning usbgecko.com (and it was looking pretty nice), as well as selling direct on the site. Then Gecko OS was made open source again, and I heard some rumblings about legal pressure being the reason. Some time after that,by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
Hmmm... I'm sorry to say it looks more like a parody of Apple products. Not intending to flamebait here, but I honestly thought "ah, iSoap" looking over the images. That said, cool idea but not for me.by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
I figure that means you don't have libpng installed, which would seem odd. Haven't had a chance to try again today, but I am having issues getting the HTTP request to return anything other than the standard "cPanel/Apache installed" from my shared hosting... which I find to be bizarre... given that I'm connecting to the correct IP and using a valid host header. Installing bootmii as IOS isn't very useful, but you can still do it without worry, even if you can't install to boot2.by PhoenixTank - Getting Started

Ultimately, WiiSCU is built on top of PatchMii-core, a patching application that bushing created. If we are going to get technical, TheManuel, WiiSCU uses Team Twiizer's tools. Your call, but hardly something to fear.by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications

It warns you about IOS 60 because that is the IOS that the 4.0 & 4.1 system menu runs on. Unless you decide to update IOS60, you'll be fine. What are you attempting to achieve with WiiSCU? Restoring shop channel access?by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
QuoteSpyroDragon What is the best way to update only the shop channel, without installing 4.2 right now? The Wiki says either WiiSCU or the Wii Shop and IOS61 installer Has anyone tried yet? QuotewolfennightsBy "import games" I assume you mean either SNES games that were never released over here that you play using an emulator, or buying VC games from out of their region. Whether or not this is pirating is up to debate, although playing burned GCN/Wii "backups" is pirating. I meant playing Wii games that aren't released in Europe.
