Sorry, I kinda forgot about this thread >_> I did manage to get devkitPPC working on this though, just follow the instructions on and you should be 100% good to go.by Putzpie - Homebrew General
QuoteWikiFSXThat distro looks fantastic. Definately. After playing around with it, I can safely say it's the best distro I have ever used. I'm currently still in the process of installing devkitpro, though.by Putzpie - Homebrew General
Thank you guys for your help, but I actually decided to try a distrobution of linux called "Zenwalk" Linux. It's pretty much a programming suite, and it runs fairly decently on this machine. It's a slackware based disto I do believe. If I get things running on this, I'll let you guys know. I backed up all the data that was important to me(not really that much honestly) and deby Putzpie - Homebrew General
Hi, I'm feeling like developing some Wii homebrew, but the problem is that this computer(my good one) is out in the living room, while my wii is in my room. Meaning every time I make a change I have to walk back and forth to my room, and as you might guess it's pretty annoying. However I have an older computer in my room that I might be able to use. The only problem is that it'sby Putzpie - Homebrew General
Ever get the feeling when you have the feeling to make something, but have no clue what to make? That's me right now :( If there's already a topic like this, sorry, I didn't do a great deal of searching, so tell me if it has been done already >_> I guess you could just dump ideas here that you'd like to see on the wii, so anybody who feels like doing something butby Putzpie - Offtopic

You sir are right. I was in complete awe when I ran a few games. Fucking amazing work by the Wii64 team.by Putzpie - Offtopic

QuoteRazorChristTry putting GRRLIB_Render() under your if statements, like so: x+=dir; if(x<20)dir=1; if(x>100)dir=-1; GRRLIB_Render(); Also, try including math.h Will do. QuoteprofetylenDon't you have to call GRRLIB_Init() before you call GRRLIB_InitTileSet()? By looking at the GRRLIB demos, no. My wiimote works just fine with those too. Before you tell me it's horrible code, I already know that, but what earth is wrong? First off, the wiimote doesn't even connect, so that's why I have both WPAD and PAD on, and when I use GRRLIB_Printf, it only prints the first letter. Here's my code. I'm just using font four from the lesson 5 example. EDIT: Figured out the problem with the text. I only have uppercaseby Putzpie - Coding
QuoteArikadoFirst you'll need to set up a dev enviroment with our devkitPPC toolchain. The process is extremely similiar to setting up the devkitARM toolchain you used with the ds. (Likewise, it can be sent from the devkitPRO website) I should probably have mention that I've successfully ran a generic "hello world app" with wiiload over wifi, so I know how to compile and all that. Hi, I'm a little new to homebrew. I did mess around with DS homebrew, and make a simple drawing program, but nothing too serious. I'm confused as to where I should start with Wiibrew though. Could someone give me a hand? I can run homebrew pefectly fine with HBC, and all that jazz. I just need some guidance with making it.by Putzpie - Getting Started
