Hi, the fact is that i;ve internet, and my wii, don;t have a SD card installed. I upgrade Homebrew channel via internet. after install the Homebrew installer try to write he log to the SD card, failed, and hangs. I reboot the wii and everything go fine, but i was really scared to do that. maybe this issue can be fixed. regards Marianoby beholder - Homebrew General
In my very little experience, i;ve a wii 4.2U with HBC, and I run into the same problem. I just put DOP-IOS, enable internet in the wii, and install the internet channel with DOP-IOS and work great. with internet installed and Wiiconnect24 disabled ( to prevent unwanted upgrades ) DOP-IOS will download the channels from NUS, so no need to prepare anything. I've reading several sites of wii Scene, and i've a doubt about name regarding IOS. For what i've read i found several IOS CIOS and ect... IOS249 and IOS250 , they also called cIOSX in some places, the author is wanikoko, they use that IOS to play backup Games from the DVD drive. this IOS has revision that go up to v19. All the people comming to this forum usually came with problems. I just buy a wii, with chip, System Menu 4.2U, the HBC installed and Neogamma r7 autoboot laucher. I want to take all the preventive actions to fully using my wii without fear of getting briked and/or in case the console get briked have all the tool so succefully recover it from that. So I guessing. 1) Install the BootMiiby beholder - The Junkyard
