QuoteSifJarThere is Priiloader, but it's a poorly coded modification of preloader (which I think was fairly decent) that is quite buggy from what I hear, and I cannot therefore recommend it. It replaces a vital part of the Wii's system software, and so if that goes wrong, which it has been known to, your Wii can be left in a state of completely not working, and be very hard to fix. Hi there, since I have the Super Mario Red Wii (2010), I cannot install BootMii2, only BootMii1, so I can't use the feature to boot in the HBC when turning on the Wii. Is there any other way to boot in the HBC without using BootMii2? Thank youby the_importer - Homebrew General
You may be right, it is a PAL game after all and I component video is still analog but then again, my Wiimote goes dead as well, so who knows.by the_importer - Getting Started
So my new Wii is hacked and I decided to use StartPatch in order to always be able to boot imports from the disc channel, being able to copy protected saved data to SD cards, etc... Now my Japanese imports boot perfectly buy one and only Wii PAL import (New Play Control Pikmin 2) doesn't. Well it does, sort of. I see the the preview screen in the disc channel but after I click on Start, Iby the_importer - Getting Started
QuoteHudson=____= i feel this is ether a troll or priacy involve. Actually Axel assisted me with the installation of the proper tools and then showed me 2 different ways of backing up my save data and how to install Homebrew Channel on a new Wii using the Smash Stage Hack. He also e-mailed me the full instructions so that I can reproduce all of this on my new Wii. All in all, he did a greatby the_importer - Getting Started
Cool, PM me your e-mail address that is linked to your Paypal account so that I can have this ready in case you can pull it off. I'll PM you back later on this afternoon to set a time.by the_importer - Getting Started
I still can't make one of these programs to get my protected save data to an SD card (Mario Kart, Smash Bros Brawl, etc...), no matter what I try or install. So here's the deal: -I show you my TV screen via my webcam (you can just use a mic if you want, don't need to see your screen) -You guide me in what to download and install in order to extract protected saved data to mby the_importer - Getting Started
@jbc007 Well that video was just to show that the initial part doesn't completely work. Yes, installing IOS36 rev1042 does seem to work, but it doesn't change anything, these save backup programs still don't work.by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@jbc007 Here, if picture is worth a thousand words, this this video should cover a novel:by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@Axel DOP-Mii + ABHPROT didn't work, I mean it says it installed it but the save backup programs still don't work after this.by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@SifJar I thought about it but let's not forget, I have a launch system, so my Wii's flash memory is starting to get old, so I'd just be delaying my problem with this since there's a read and write limit on these things. Also, I'm pretty sure that only physical modifications or tempering voids a hardware warranty. Pretty sure Nintendo would say it's voided butby the_importer - Homebrew Applications
You know what, screw this, I'm just gonna buy the damn system, go to an authorized repair center and tip the guy a fifty if he transfers my stuff.by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@jbc007 So it's basically pointless to go on then. God, Nintendo can be so retarded sometimes. I actually started a topic on GameFaqs if anyone is interested. Pretty heavy debating between logic an fanboyism:by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@jbc007 I have a launch Wii, November 2006 but I did keep up with the updates, so is it the same deal as having a new one?by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@Axel I have IOS61 in the Homebrew Channel, so in DOP-Mii, I see IOS61 + ABHPROT. Is it too late to revert or something?by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
@SifJar & Axel Thanks for your replies, but I already tried these prior to posting this message: -Savegame Extractor just gives me "This is not a valid Wiiw application" message -SaveGame Manager GX gives me a "No SaveGame found in Wii" message -I've tried every IOS options in Savegame Manager MOD and Banana Saves, none of them worked, half the error removes my Wiimote fonctions andby the_importer - Homebrew Applications
I've tried everything I can think of but I just can't make any of those savegame backup homebrews programs to work. They either don't load, don't do squat or tell me that they can't find any save data. I really want to buy the new Red Wii that's coming out but I want to transfer my save data.by the_importer - Homebrew Applications
