hmm. try WUFE. it extracts the update from a legally owned game. use it on an own region game and install the sys menu wadby metroid_maniac - FixMii
Quotetimmy112If the BC can underclock the CPU and GPU, would it be possible to modify the BC to overclock the the CPU and GPU? Why does BC have any special privileges? Bootmii probably could under/overclock anything.by metroid_maniac - Software
it looks like the system menu file on your wii is corrupted. savemii will not help here. only Infectus and Bootmii can.by metroid_maniac - FixMii
Try to use Gecko OS in the meantimeby metroid_maniac - Homebrew General
Does it autoboot it? I'd like to knowby metroid_maniac - FixMii
you're welcome. modchip or nintendo, two options...by metroid_maniac - FixMii
Autoboot discs will not work without a modchip. DO you know what you did before it bricked?by metroid_maniac - FixMii
This is not the place for discussion of backups. please read the front page.by metroid_maniac - The Junkyard
Gecko os is an app to a) Remove region restrictions and b) Use cheat codesby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
delete or rename SD:/Bootmii/armboot.bin ( on the SD, in the folder Bootmii, the file armboot.bin) and it will not boot into Bootmiiby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
Due to hardware limitations, WIi remotes do not work in bootmii. Only GC pads do. If you dont have any, you can use the front buttons to control it: Power: next option, Reset: select, Eject: start button (?) Look in the SD card. if you have Beta 2 of Bootmii (latest) there should be a line with: #AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU and #BOOTDELAY=2 remove # them things and it will auto-load the menu after 5 sby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
use Anyregionchanger 1.1b (latest) and look at it. Download USA version of system menu if nessecary, and change the region settings all to USA if nessecary as well. REMEBER TO SAVE THE SETTINGS! Do not change the country code if you want to use the wii shop channel.by metroid_maniac - FixMii
What region were you before? What region are you now? Have you got a modchip? Anyregionchanger should help you, but I need to know these things firstby metroid_maniac - FixMii
Backup Loaders are not supported here. Do you know why there is a big message LIKE THIS on the front page?by metroid_maniac - The Junkyard
In the background, to launch channels from the SD it copy's them to the Wii. Move one or two to the SD and it'll work OK.by metroid_maniac - Offtopic
I region changed 3.2j to 3.2u and installed preloader. discs are not working, due to my unknown drivechip. after experimenting I have realised I need to change the settings on my drivechip, or leave it semi-bricked if I want to play games in the disc channel. I DO NOT WANT TO SEMI-BRICK IT!!! So I`ll see what chip I have.by metroid_maniac - Homebrew Applications
I know nothing of the PPC <-> IOS, But IOS runs on the ARMby metroid_maniac - Software
this pretty much explains it: After installing Bootmi/Boot2 on my 3.2j wii, I region changed through anyregion changer to 3.2u, along with the aproppriate settings. No Semi-Brick! However, Discs didn't work through the Disc Channel. No problem, I have a Gecko OS channel. So I tried installing Preloader. Worked! Put the 3.2u hacks.ini on the SD card in the root, and I booted up into Preloaby metroid_maniac - Homebrew Applications
If you can turn it on with your Wii remote, it's not the BT module. If you can't, you've found your problem! I buy all my electronics on Dealextreme, here's a link to a BT module: Clickyby metroid_maniac - FixMii

Great! Don't know any programming languages, thats why. Will try A.S.A.P! Edit: Dunnit! only 5 secs tho. won't go lower at all. :-(by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
its not an app. It's a exploit for DVD's. Use MPlayer CE to actually play the DVD's. That should be on the Homebrew Browser tooby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
USB 2.0 was achieved by cIOS, so obviously if 3.0 ever apears it'd be by cIOSby metroid_maniac - Offtopic
hmm. I have the standard settings and I guess that it'd work if it's installed as Boot2. will try A.S.A.P! EDIT: nope, still now working. This is my Settings file: # BootMii config file # Video mode, possible settings: # NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE VIDEO=NTSC # Autoboot, possible settings: # SYSMENU, HBC #AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU # Autoboot delay, in seconds: # Defaultby metroid_maniac - Getting Started
Another brick caused by Waninkoko's software. by the sounds of it, the menu is not on your NAND or is a corrupted file. otherwise the remote would sync. Savemii won't help, only Infectus and bootmii. :-(by metroid_maniac - FixMii
Great. Just tried autoboot timeout, STILL DOESN'T WORK! Does it have something to do with the fact Bootmii's only installed as IOS? Oh, and MIOS shouldn't affect anything, as it's after Boot2. I think I have MIOS v5. I think that your method of downgrading BC might work as well. Don't know why I didn't think of that. Cheers!by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
RIGHT THEN NOW TO TURN CAPS LOCK OFF! yay! Hey, this is the second time i've corrected you innit? nevermind. I am going to use NUS downloader or try using trucha signer on my MK wii disc to get a older version of BC. that still doesn't solve the other problem though... Anyone with Bootmii/Boot2 and GC games please try to play one! Edit: installed old BC v2by metroid_maniac - Getting Started
