letterbomb freezes 4.3E - 10 years ago

I have a 2gb sd fat32 and when i click on the letter it says loads of messages then valid elf or something and then stays on that screen forever. I factory reset my wii and then updated then tried the letterbomb. I actually did try putting things like homebrew browser as boot.dol and it loaded but nothing really installs. i also tried the boot.dol from bannerbomb and that loaded but it said i
