QuoteMattMan This might be fixable once a program is developed to run on MINI that can install IOSes and the System Menu. Can this be done by using cBoot2 via Bootmii to run some programs that will do this ?by Fnomna - FixMii
I shoulds have been clearer in my original post. Of course anyone not on 4.1J will have to wait until 4.1 in their matching region is released - if it is.by Fnomna - FixMii
Ok that is good news. Is there any chance the 4.1U or 4.1E updates will differ to 4.1J?by Fnomna - FixMii
PixelKakashi, is your system otherwise working fine? Or are you bricked somehow? Your flash just sounds like Bootmii is not finding the SD card correctly. Have you tried another card? My screen will go black but the blue flash is once per second and does not stop until turning off the Wii.by Fnomna - BootMii Beta
For a bricked 4.0 Wii, now that 4.1(J) has been released, will it be possible to use Savemii to get to the recovery menu, then use a burnt disc containing a 4.1 update to unbrick it? I'm still not clear on 4.0's ability to boot an update disc. Will a modchip make a difference? Or will I just have to wait for a retail game to come out containing a 4.1 update? I'm hoping it may fixby Fnomna - FixMii
I think you are in the same position as me. I am on 4.0E and can use Savemiifrii to show 4.0E but no autoboot discs I've tried work - either by normal boot or via Savemiifrii. (I have a chip. I bricked just before I was about to install IOS60 and Preloader. Looks like IOS60 might not have helped me anyway.) We have to wait for a 4.1 update to come out on an official game disc I think?by Fnomna - FixMii
Is it possible to find out the number of bad blocks from my old nand.bin? I was thinking of doing another backup of my now-bricked Wii and see if there are now more bad blocks, indicating my nand is possibly going bad...by Fnomna - BootMii Beta
I am on 4.0. I cannot get into HBC to try changing versions. This bug is critical for me as the NAND recovery doesn't unbrick me any more. Is there any way to launch the HBC using the Bootmii SD menu option?? I think that launches an .elf from the SD card. That may help. Or will that likely just bring up the same buggy frozen screen?by Fnomna - BootMii Beta
Hello, Most times, Bootmii boots normally. Sometimes when I try and boot to Bootmii with the SD card in, the drive slot will flash blue. Not the fast brief flashes when there is no SD card in, but a continuous slow flash (once per second?). The screen is blank too. This doesn't happen when I don't have a card in. Is this a Bootmii diagnostic flashing message? or system related?by Fnomna - BootMii Beta
Quotemagic12i have the same issue. HBC wont boot from Bootmii. when i try to load HBC i have freez and this on tv: http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj235/JAC6776/IMG_1180.jpg after that i have to hard restart (5 sec shutdown) I have BootMii on boot2 installed, 3.2E system meny, updated HBC (older version also tested, same bug) I have the same problem.
