lol!nice name!!!:P anyway back on topic, does this happen with wii games as well? if so then its a problem with the dvd drive, ifnot then i dont knowby jassim - Homebrew General
its definitly a hardware problem, your bluetooth dongle MIGHT be broken but i dont know too much about that, sorry.by jassim - FixMii
where did you get this recovery diskby jassim - FixMii
you uninstalled IOS30 *_*.... if thats what happened then i remember hearing someone say that if youve uninstalled IOS30 then youll need to wait for bootmii and NAND programmer (like infectus, i think its already out) and youll also have to open up your nintendo wiiby jassim - FixMii
what hppens when you turn ur wii on without savemiiby jassim - FixMii
i thought bootmii wasnt released, also where do you get a nand programmer from? just out of interest.by jassim - FixMii
how did you uninstall ios30?by jassim - FixMii
completely fine but just make sure your careful when games give you updates if you have a semi brick and also be careful with applications like anyregion changer or downgraderby jassim - FixMii
ok there is a 0.0001% chance of fully bricking your wii if you simply just play games without trying to fix it in any way. if you really dont care about the settings then you may as well leave it as it is until you actually need the settings. I THINK that you can slip into a full brick by trying to fix it because (remember im not sure about this) since you updated from another region, your nby jassim - FixMii
i deleted the temp folder and now the homebrew browser works perfectly, thanks a lot tek. geebox actually wasnt in the homebrew browser so i thought id re-download it without converting it into a .dol file and it worked, found it very very complicated however i ound anohter mplayer designed for watching movies not on a dvd (other mplayer didnt play dvds for me anyway) and it works perfectly soby jassim - Homebrew Applications
sorry i have no idea what the /temp directory is. is it ok if you clarify please?by jassim - Homebrew Applications
that goes to my first problem :Pby jassim - Homebrew Applications
i tried it, it was a boot.elf file so obviously i had to convert it to a boot.dol file, but it still came up as in invalid applicaton O_o, any suggestions? thanks in advanceby jassim - Homebrew Applications
first problem: whenever i try going on the second page in "media" in the homebrew browser, i get taken back to the homebrew channel. second problem: i have a movie in a .avi file which i want to watch with Mplayer and ive tried 3 different versions, whenever i load any of them up, i get a black screen and the wiimote stops responding, like "the blackscreen of death" modchip: wasabi systeby jassim - Homebrew Applications
1. 3.2E 2. Banner brick 3. i was bored so i decided to banner brick my wii for fun :P 4. wasabi 5. loaded twilight princess with starfall and then loaded wad manager through the twilight hack and deleted the wad which bricked my wiiby jassim - FixMii
uhh i think it doesnt work if ur semi briced above 3.2 :( im really sorry this is the last option an if this oesnt work, nothing but a game with a 3.4 update will work, and if that doesnt work, im afraid you have to wait till 3.5. last method: install 3.3J with this homebrew application, really hope it works,by jassim - FixMii
if that doesnt work try geting your hands on a boot.elf fileby jassim - FixMii
that probably is the problem. heres what you do. make a new folder in your desktop called whatever you want copy EACH AND EVERY SINGLE file from ur sd card to that folder go to start > my computer right click on your sd card, click format FAT16 or FAT32. copy back all your files to your sd cardby jassim - FixMii
i seriousl would help but i hav abolutely no idea about this sorryby jassim - FixMii
do you still have the twilight hack saved on your wii? if you do, then put the boot.dol of the wad manager in the root of your sd card, put twilight princess inside your wii, turn on your ii while holding Y on ur gc controller, choose the tilight hack save file when twilight princess loads up, walk backwards, thn youll see the wad manager open, uninstall the wad that bricked your wii. if you doby jassim - FixMii
you just need to put the boot.dol in the root of ur sd card then load the twilight hack, if that still doesnt work, and this is the last workaround i know, is to install the homebrew channel and load anyregion changer from there and im 99% sure thatll work.by jassim - FixMii
nvm i jsut installed 3.2 without taking the risk, it appears as starfall got overwritten, oh well, im never ever taking a risk ike that again lol. lock pleaseby jassim - Homebrew General
stains, since you dont have homebrew and you the semi brick fix is too old for ur iwis firmware, thisis the only strategy i know: 1) copy a tp hack save file to ur wii 2) put the boot.dol of any region changer to the root of ur sd card 3) load the tp hack 4) you should see anyregion changer 5) dont change any of the settings and just go all the way down to install 3.2 and click on it. dby jassim - FixMii
ok im using waninkokos downgrader to downgrade from 3.2E to 3.1E and i jsut realised that i have astarfall installed, if i return to the wi menu will ig et a brick? or will starfall simply be overwritten? i stll have the chance to go to 3.2E but i really need an answer coz my wiis stil on and im quite worried.by jassim - Homebrew General
if u have the homebrew channel, download any region changer, load it up, dont change any of the settings and just instal the system menu 3.2. if u dont have the homebre channel, get the semi brick fix disc for your region, insert it in ur wii, open it from the disc channel then folow the instructions from thereby jassim - FixMii
title says it all, thx in advanceby jassim - The Junkyard
hmm k i understand now thx, id jsut like to ask one last question. if i ever get an opera brick, can i simply get rid of it with a savemii and a semi brick fix disk for my region. im on 3.2E i have a wasabi modchipby jassim - FixMii
k i have 2 answers which go directly against each other lol. anyone know whos right?by jassim - FixMii
