Ummm, has anyone ever, ever seen or heard of starfall bricking a wii?by icefire - Homebrew General
You need an sd card with a /apps/ folder on it, and at least one homebrew app named boot.dol in /apps/NAME_OF_APP/by icefire - Homebrew General
Thank you! Thats awesome!by icefire - Homebrew General
You do have to IMD5 sign the sound.bin though, but a wrong format/bad sound.bin will just give you a channel without sound. At least one of the sound formats for channels is 16bit PCM wav, and looping is accomplished with a program like Wavosaur that lets you make looping wavs.by icefire - Homebrew General
It doesn't, but it crashes because it needs the hash to be correct to read the content (and it can't load without the content). Am I right?by icefire - Homebrew General
You can (and should) upgrade to 3.2 with AnyReigon Changer.by icefire - Homebrew General
Try a new SD card. Some just don't work.by icefire - Homebrew General
I reccomend the Rescue Menu with Y Button and the Skip Rescue Menu Autoboot patches as then you can recover from some bricks.by icefire - Homebrew General
They are old LucasArts games (and very big).by icefire - Homebrew General
yes, 3.3 pre oct23 can with AnyReigon Changer (I did this myself)by icefire - Homebrew General
Just try pressing B+1 or B+2 over and over...by icefire - Homebrew General
Really? It seemed pretty homebrew to me (aka would nintendo really use the .NET framework?) Edit: Arikado: I'm not sure what you mean, I mean the like "Homebrew Browser Channel" and such floating around, not 'Injected' VC games.by icefire - Homebrew General
The currently available "banner-making software" is just replacing the TPL files and repacking....so can you make a homebrew channel (just one) then "inject" the new banner (I mean like making a completely homebrew channel but with the same specifications as the ones used in the current banner-making software)?by icefire - Homebrew General
I want to know so I can possibly make ones that aren't...by icefire - Homebrew General
Yes. You should keep IOS51 and use AnyReigon Changer to downgrade.by icefire - Homebrew General
I meant patches that STAY when you reboot the wii (Such as starfall)...so we could have like "move the disc channel" without having to start gecko os every time.by icefire - Software
BTW, just so people know, badly packed U8 archives will NOT cause a brick, they will cause the channel to be hidden and show up as ??? in the data management screen.by icefire - Homebrew General
Umm just use it...unless you mess up it won't brick you...by icefire - Homebrew General
No, DONT UPDATE! there is nothing new good, and new bad!by icefire - Homebrew General
This probably downgrades the IOS too :).by icefire - Homebrew General
We don't support WADs here, as they are almost all in some way illegal.by icefire - Homebrew General
Thats because the HBB needs an SD card.by icefire - Homebrew General
Would it be a good idea to have a starfall-like "patcher", that loaded patches off the SD card (that do things such as Remove BGM, skip disk update, etc) so you only need to make a file, rather than making whole new applications to patch the SysMenu?by icefire - Software
Marioguy: Read the readme. they go in /apps/NAME_OF_APP/boot.dol (.elf's don't work). An easier way is the Homebrew Browser.by icefire - Homebrew General
Quotecbedicscrack the wii to play burned games with no mod chip? We don't like piracy here, so we do not support burning games (even backups, as that is mostly used as a way to "legitimize" piracy).by icefire - Homebrew General
Ummm, just read the readme. It isn't that hard. Did you try before posting?by icefire - Homebrew General
Install HBC (with US twilight princess). Use GeckoOS/Starfall.by icefire - Homebrew General
