I started a thread the other day that has since been closed so I am hoping that someone can help me... I am trying to set our wii (version 3.3E) so we can use all region games and not just the Australian region ones. I bought a SD card reader off ebay and it arrived today. I have the following files on it: a folder named apps containing - homebrew browser (boot.dol, icon.png, loopby bundychik - Getting Started
so it really is as easy and dropping and dragging boot.elf to the sd card and then inserting it in the wii? there are no extra steps that I need to take?by bundychik - Getting Started
I just bought a SD reader from Ebay so will wait till that gets here - no big rush! Thanks for the help!by bundychik - Getting Started
Thanks Arikado Once I get a SD Reader do I just copy boot.elf on it and put it in the wii or is it a bit more complex than that??by bundychik - Getting Started
I am all new to this so have no idea what I am doing so thought I better get some expert advice. I want to put gecko on our wii so we can play games from different regions. Our wii is not connected to the net and our PC does not have a SD reader. Given that - is it possible for us to play different region games and if so...how do I do it without making a total mess of the wii? Thanksby bundychik - Getting Started
