I'd have to support this. I read the features once before when someone else requested a Duke 3D port, and linked to the EDuke website myself. Anyways it would be cool to see this ported by someone.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
Lets get a few things straight here, cause there is a bit of misinformation about the emulator. First the name isnt Wiipsx. It's Wiisx. If you dont name your emulator folders correctly you'll get nowhere fast with this emulator. Period. The emulator reads set folder paths and names. Second. The emulator is still in beta phases of development by the emulatemii team, which is why aby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
Not really a good idea. Some people like using USB loaders for the wrong purposes, and for the most part those apps arent supported on these forums. As well as a handful of other apps, and stuff that are not supported as well. There's also the inherent risk of obtaining a app you got no clue about via someone uploading their entire SD card contents, as those apps can be dangerous. This eby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
Check any and all USB devices plugged into your Wii. If they are plugged in then unplug them and try Snes9X without them plugged into the console.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
The emulator is still in beta stages of development despite what's said by the devs, and or anyone else about its progress. Therefore it will have problems with many games, most of which completely at random for whatever reason. A different save state then the one you have may work, or might not work depending on the actual cause of the issue, which may have to be addressed by the Wii64 deby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
I'm trying to softmod a friends Wii by installing the hombrew channel on it. I'm using a 4GB PNY micro SD card, and Bannerbomb V1, however the Wii doesnt prompt me to load boot.dol/elf to install the channel. Also the Wii is 3.3U. Any help would be appreciated. Thanksby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
Try installing an IOS 16 module. Dop-Mii should be able to help you install it.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Yeah the wiimote is useable as the mouse. It feels kinda ackward though since you're not using it like a traditional mouse on a flat surface. As for my start menu comment. That's my fault....You get so used to newer windows environments and start menu just gets blurted out sometimes. The games window basically had nothing and windows spat out an error about certain files relating toby nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
^^^He did start it some time ago. There's a google code project page for it. Just search "reality boy wii" under the google code search.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
QuoteKammesenninCool, I just see every so often a topic about wanting an OS like Windows and I thought, we already have DOS pretty much, so why not install Windows then? I figure 3.11 has some low requirements, but I suppose it would need to be changed a bit to support the Wii-mote as a mouse, unless DOS-Box - Wii has that option already. Just haven't had the time to mess with it yet. Perby nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
It's possible, but installing under dos-box wii will take more than the average amount of time it usually takes on pc. Not to mention you may have to tweak settings on dos-box wii a little if you expect it to run full speed right out of the gate.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
You cant put roms onto the wii's internal memory. Only the wii's virtual console service does, and psx games arent on it. Besides as you noted they are too big. You're only alternative is to get a bigger SD card like an 8 or 16GB one. If you shop around you can find them fairly cheap.by nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
Two things you oughta know before bothering to bump or make a new topic asking this again. Purchasing a Wii with an SD containing N64 games you most likely dont already own yourself isnt supported here. It's piracy. The external USB hard drive with USB loader is also not supported here, cause it's typically used for loading back up or pirated images of actual Wii games.....Thereforeby nightwishfan1 - The Junkyard
Not to mention from what I understand of the term is that Nazi Zombies is a mere game mode for several games. I've been asking around on other sites I frequent and no one has heard of a stand alone game by the name Nazi Zombies. If you have any coding experience you could clone a given Nazi Zombies game mode and make it a stand alone thing with more features. Of course however you'dby nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
For one FCE Ultra most likely has more video filters than Nintendos emulator. Probably also true pallette support, which essentially means that the color pallettes the NES used are being used and emulated as well. Not that Nintendos most likely isnt, but the FCE Ultra is probably following it more closely from the looks of it.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
^^^I been investigating the problem, and went to the www.bennugd.org website where the project is hosted. On their forums they said to update to the latest Homebrew Channel, which would be 1.0.6. I tried that and it works so try updating your Homebrew Channel to that version. If it doesnt work then follow that link above to make an account for their forum section to report the problem.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
^^^Might have to contact the admin at freedo.org about it cause I dont see it anywhere either. I requested this cause they were in the midst of choosing a license to place the project under. So I dont know what's up unless it's a private svn thing.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests

I think the question he is posing is in relation to how to get the application to reload back to it's selection menu without having it go back to the HBC, and manually restart it all over again. For an example I'll use Tantrics emulators. In those you would start the app like all others from the HBC, and the app will load up with their rom selection menus, and other menu options. Selby nightwishfan1 - Coding
If you believe zipping your roms is the cause then unzip them and try the game that way. Also a note about zipping roms. Tantric has stated in another thread before that 7-zipping them isnt recommended. Sure the emulator supports them that way, but he discourages it. If you zipped them that way then just normally zip the files.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
QuotescanffI think Duke Nukem 3D was released for Sega Megadrive/Genesis. I've not tried it but we have this emulator - It's not the same...Duke 3D on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis is more Doom esque, as in it uses a first person view, and the levels are completely different. It's worth a play through, but it doesnt compare to the pc game.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
I also forgot to mention that Rise of the Triad works with dosbox wii. I personally have it on my SD card. It just requires a keyboard.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
It should be possible. The Duke Nukem 3D game engine was released publicly, and had multiple fan made maps made from it, which in turn were made into map packs on cd. There's even a open source port of the game built for several other platforms, which someone may be able to work with if they desire. The link to it is below.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
So....How is this supposed to be set up? I just tried it with everything in the apps directory, then tried to load it, and all it did was spit me back out to the HBC.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
How about "Wiiality Boy" for the name? I know you guys have been trying to come up with a name.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
The emulators I know of off hand that have this support would be FCE Ultra GX, VBA GX, SNES9X GX, Gensplus GX, and Hugo GX. Yes the roms need to be in their own individual zip folder. You cannot zip them into one zip folder. They wont work that way. Yes your savestates will work....Just keep them in the saves folder where they belong. Lets use as an example a empty SD card with nothing on it. In the blank area right click, and create a new folder and name it apps. If you have all of your homebrew programs already downloaded to your pc or whatever then you want to unzip their archive folders, and transfer their program folder to your SD in the apps folder. To do this access your SD card, and double click the apps folder to oby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started

I'd say he got upgraded to system menu 4.2 from the sounds of it. Dont mess with it Chrono. Trying to downgrade or whatever you're thinking would be the stupidest thing you'd ever do, cause system menu 4.2 is meant to get rid of homebrew, and prevent measures to circumvent it. Like downgrading to a lower system menu version. To get homebrew back you need the latest hackmii instby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
