Finally got an sd card to try this out with, but I keep getting the same symptoms as After the scam warning screen, the wii restarts to the health screen. Does this mean i have the newer boot2v4? :(:(:(by pood - BootMii Beta
Hey all, i was just wondering if anyone has tested out the restore feature yet? How fast is it? Does it restore perfectly? Cheers pood P.S. Keep up the excellent work guys! You should set up a paypal donation site, cause your work deserves rewards!by pood - BootMii Beta
Thanks for the quick replies! sorry, but what is a lol catz joke? cause i don't get it! :Pby pood - BootMii Beta
Great work guys!!! The hard work really shows. Is there any way to verify that the NAND backup is correct? And how long does it take to load to the system menu if no SD card is inserted? Also, what does the last line of the readme means? "P.S. ios cat iz in ur wiiz watchin ur isoz" Sorry for all the q's! Cheersby pood - BootMii Beta
Yes, your warranty will be voidedby pood - FixMii
Why don't you just use your new one for original stuff, and the one with homebrew on it for homebrew? Or is it because you want to keep all your purchased wiiware/ virtual console games etc?by pood - Homebrew General
Quotedaniel_c_wYou would need a way to run any code (an exploit). But if you can already do that, there is no need for an additional "forwarder". It can go directly to the installer. I was thinking of a way to install the forwarder channel, copy to SD card channel, and then use that to load up stuff without HBC from your SD card. thats all, not as a way to totally remove HBCby pood - Homebrew General
Quotebushingwhat the hell is a "forwarder channel"? Ive seen them around the net but not going to install them cause i don't want to risk bricking my wii!! It seems to be a channel that forwards to a boot.dol file on you sd card. Apart from that, dunno anything else about it, sorry!by pood - Homebrew General
So the forwarder still calls on the HBC to run the actual code? Cheersby pood - Homebrew General
Just a quick hypothetical question regarding installing HBC on system menu 4.0. Would it be possible to make a forwarder channel that forwards to the HBC installer? Would that way work? Or i'm guessing those forwarder channels rely on HBC to work Just a suggestion, Poodby pood - Homebrew General
