Really? I've always thought that you had to write a certain piece of code that would allow it to crash, then write the loader so that it could load the file (the .nsdi file). That's actually pretty neat. Despite it being so simple, it looks like it's a fairly tedious process. Now trying to crash something sounds fun. =Pby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
QuoteArikadoSonicdude41: Our goal right now is to get an exploit to let us run unsigned code in DSi mode. What you stated is actually one of the many things we're trying. The DSi's media playing capabilities load tons of crap, so with a little luck, we'll be able to exploit one of them. I know the purpose of the exploit. =P I guess I should've stated that I was a comby Sonicdude41 - Offtopic
Sorry to jump in here. I'm a noob when it comes to software exploits, just to let everyone know. Anyways, this is an exploit idea that came to me last night. What if an exploit could be found within the DSi's Music Player? In my mind, it would probably involve the way the Music Player loads .AAC files, and a special .AAC file itself. Is this the latest version of IOS for the Wii, or is this the IOS thby Sonicdude41 - Software
I recently installed the Homebrew Channel (which is AWESOME by the way) so that I could take a look at some homebrew games (like Mahjongg Wii, Supersonic Wii, etc.). Everything loads just fine. BUT, there is one little thing that will happen sometimes: I will start the HBC, load an app like normal, and play it. However, when I exit the app, the HBC App Select Menu will not return and remainby Sonicdude41 - Homebrew General
