Its been mentioned that older small sd cards can effect the boot speed. For now your only solution is a new sd card (not an SDHC though), perhaps they may get round this issue with sd cards at some stage.by niko86 - BootMii Beta
Just copy over the bootmii folder from your old card and drop it on your new one. Bootmii just boots to the system menu if the files in that folder aren't on the SD card when the wii is switched on.by niko86 - BootMii Beta

When you installed BootMii did you install the new Homebrew Channel? I would assume 1.0.2 would have the menu option for BootMii older versions would not. It says this in the readme: "* BootMii/IOS: This mode will install BootMii into your NAND filesystem as an IOS (IOS254). I'm used to nand backups on my psp . On the psp over time the nand picks up new bad blocks. This brings about a risk of making existing nand backups useless. Obviously the recovery application would try to write to the memory addresses of the new bad blocks. Therefore the brick isn't repaired and you have no backup which will work anymore. My question is how susceptible to nand degraby niko86 - BootMii Beta

Always best to take your time and do a good job and not pull a SoftMii 2.9.5 and release before being stable and safe.
