@LOLDSFAN That doesn't mean you shouldn't try...by Arikado - Offtopic
What's the latest status update from "Tinte"?by Arikado - Homebrew General
So is anyone thinking about doing this?by Arikado - Homebrew General
I only like Sony and Nintendo for consoles and Microsoft for computers.by Arikado - Offtopic
A port would be the better option of the two. Unfortunately, I never bought any of the quakes (a little young at that time, I guess) so the port of quake 1 was my first quake expierience. I'm looking forward to one day trying out all three. EDIT: Offtopic but was the final fantasy 7 pc version DOS?by Arikado - Homebrew General
@LOLDSFAN Probably the top screen, don't know about the touch one, though...by Arikado - Offtopic
May want to move this to coding...by Arikado - Homebrew General
I really don't like lua that much, but I'd be interested to see it made.by Arikado - Homebrew General
@WiiPhlex GX is only used in the Image class and DrawSprite(), so why not just rewrite it? I'm not talented enough to do it unfortunately. But as henke37 pointed out, the GX texture format is pretty warped, which may be why I'm having so much trouble with it. I see chaosteil as an all knowing code god (he wrote the library after all). So I'm disappointed when I see some of thesby Arikado - Coding
@Dykam Yes, but the "casual" audience would never notice. The "hardcore" audience is dying for a graphics update with the already precise fps (metroid) control.by Arikado - Offtopic
Right, thats what I was trying to point out earlier. I'm assuming that the mouse is going to be replaced by the wiimotes IR sensor.by Arikado - Homebrew General
The next Nintendo system should just be the Wii with a storage and graphics update, to keep the best control at the level of the PS4 and Xbox720.by Arikado - Offtopic
LCD Screens... I love and hate them so much. They make the picture incredible, but are just way to fragile. I'm particulary referring to the LCD screen on my PSP. Just the other day I accidently put a nice scratch on it. The darn thing ended up distorting the color where it was scratched. So I was really ticked off the whole day. Then my friend told me how easy it was to fix the scratch.by Arikado - Offtopic
@Dykam Let me rewrite that: I can't seem to rid of a pixel (delete doesn't compile) or change the pixel's color. Changing it's RGBA (ARGB?) values don't do anything. QuotechaosteilWell, there may be one additional way you can achieve what you were looking for. Try to load the image, but into your own buffer. Use the libpng functions then to change the image data andby Arikado - Coding
When it is ported, it should be able to run the dos quakes, dooms, and wolfensteins, right?by Arikado - Homebrew General
I can't get rid of or change a color.by Arikado - Coding
Alrighty, so here's the latest on the transparency; I haven't been able to program the last two days because of something that came up. I finally got around to it today. Turns out that setting all the values of a member in _pixels does not make that pixel transparent. Surprising, eh? So I played around with GX a little and couldn't find anything to do the trick. Correct, only through the HBC.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
@WiiPhlex Because if they're DOS games we should be able to play them soon with vader's DOS emulator. @Dykam Yeah, I guess so. I thought only the .exe was illegal.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Definitely well done. Everything's in the right order too. I think it could use a code example in a future draft.by Arikado - Coding
Yeah, no chance of Perfect Dark either. Splitscreen Mario Kart 64 was my other favorite.by Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Yes, sorry about that. It is a very good idea , I hope an admin adds it. I could personally benefit from something like "Artist Wanted: Post topics here if you're looking to find an artist to help you with your homebrew". EDIT: Actually, I just want a help wanted forum most of all. But a section for all kinds of artists would definitely be awesome.by Arikado - Feedback & Support
All I want is a solid N64 emulator. I know that Mupen64 is very network extensive. However, I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the networking to bring us a good emulator. And then later updated Wii64 with networking capabilities. Most of my friends can come to living room to revisit split-screen Goldeneye. So, if it speeds up the process, I wouldn't mind if networking is ommited fromby Arikado - Homebrew Applications
Perhaps we could add a page to wiibrew.org for this instead of a seperate forum. Having said that, it might be a good idea to add a section to this forum for graphic and audio artists. EDIT: Actually I think my section is the same as your forum.by Arikado - Feedback & Support
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all 3 quake games DOS games? Also does anyone know where I can download quake's PAK1.pak file? Without it I'm stuck playing the shareware version on the Wii.by Arikado - Homebrew General
Maybe we could use parts of it for an emulator for cell phone games?by Arikado - Homebrew General
