Oddly enough... I'm getting these issues now, too. Never had an issue before I upgraded to HBC 1.0.2. Bad news for me, good news for you, since I can help find/work around the issue more easily. Also having a unrecognisable character like: [] appear at the end of all text in HBB. May be related. Crap... I'm out of ideas here, unless you happen to have another SD card to try it out, but I doubt that is the issue (Using a 128MB microSD with adapter, myself) Last ditch (literally) ideas you could consider if nobody has any better ideas: Redownload anything that isn't working, remove the old files, and add the new ones (weird corruption is marginally possible) Reformat as FAT3by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
"Skipped to the next available video. One or more videos were no longer available. " :'( I'll try and find it elsewhere. Getting sick of this crap with youtube. There was a benefit to being skipped on, though :Pby PhoenixTank - Offtopic
Chocolate chip, thanks! :P Best of luck.by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
HomeBrew Browser (download link on the right) If it does affect you... I believe the wiimote just needs to time out once without input, and then you are okay. Mine is FAT(16) but, if you are using it successfully with your wii for saves, then you won't need to reformat. If for some reason you do need to format it, yes you need to back up your stuff, unless you want to lose it.by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
"This video is not available in your country" :( What was it? Also, laughed at the first video.by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
Odd and not sure I can help, but I think it may help to have answers to these questions: Followed any downgrade guides? Is your card SDHC, or just SD? Is the card formatted as FAT(16) or FAT32? Bootmii beta installed as part of boot2, right? If so, tried running HBC right from Bootmii? Any errors for the emulators i.e. what happens?by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Quotenintendude 1) Do I need an empty card to put the HackMii installer in? And, if so: 2) How can I back up my SD card's contents (copied game save data, etc.) to my computer (or to be more specific, my Macbook Pro)? Do I just drag and drop files into a folder, then copy them back when I'm done installing? 1) No, but I did it practically empty, anyway. 2) Sounds more or less likeby PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Might be worth commenting on the bug listing tooby PhoenixTank - BootMii Beta
Pacman file? I installed DVDx via the hackmii installer, and I don't have anything of the sort on my card.by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
Seems very odd. Not had that issue before, but I very much doubt that it was the return of bannerbomb. Generally, if I get any errors that are SD card related, I back up the contents to PC reformat it, then restore the files, making sure that I disconnect my reader via the "safely remove hardware icon". These things can be temperamental.by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
It just enables the ability to read DVD video, if I remember right. You still need to download a media player (There are a tonne on the HBB)by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
My one post was so helpful. Honestly not bothered unless I've helped you in other threads before, and in which case, I want my share of the cookie Kage! I also need to test that trick from step 2 to see if it actually works...by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Quotebillsfan444uhhh..... Well i can get the Homebrew Browser up when I open it with loadmii... something is telling me the Homebrew channel & browser are different things?? They are. Thinking you want to give this a go. 1. Launch loadmii via bannerbomb 2. When loadmii loads, do not touch the wiimote until it powers off. (supposed to resolve a bug with input dying) 3. Power up the wiimote aby PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Haven't tested it, but trying with Ocarina might be worth a shot. I'm aware that Ocarina is part of Gecko OS these days, but whatever is causing Gecko OS to crash with Bannerbomb, may not be present in a version of Ocarina. http://wiibrew.org/w/index.php?title=Ocarina&oldid=28791by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
QuoteMatandoMy System Menu version is 3.2U as stated above. My reading comprehension is excellent today. Doh. Sorry. QuoteMatandoAnd I contacted Comex telling him this but I unfortunatly go no reply :( Yeah, I'd think you are unlikely to. I imagine he has a rather long list of "halp me wit banerbob" emails, and a fairly decent amount of bug reports. Well, at least you are lucky enough toby PhoenixTank - Offtopic
Uh, the game can be very harsh, and make you swear in languages you don't speak, but it isn't unbalanced. MK has been known for rubber band AI since... forever? It is not a racing sim. Cheating = removal of balance. Chaos is fair, as long as you play enough. Fair warning: Your wii may well end up bricked.by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
I can't vouch for being more intelligent, but I am surprised that none of the variations worked. You have tried all of the files from the larger list? No other channels saved to SD card? Out of curiosity, what is your system menu version? Beyond the above and checking over the steps, I don't think there is much anyone can do, aside from Comex himself. Oh and it does the same jobby PhoenixTank - Offtopic

Weird. Needs Pal60 on my end, unless I want everything to be a nice shade of Red.by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
QuoteKage52124I still don't recommend you cheat online though, eventually you could get banned; not sure how Nintendo does banning, but if it's by IP address, that'd blow. Imagine explaining to your ISP, "yeah I need a new static IP because I got banned from Nintendo WiFi." Not through HBC, through Homebrew Browser (HBB). Just copy the homebrew_browser folder (and contents) from the zip into yoursdcard:\apps\ i.e. the boot.dol will be located in yoursdcard:\apps\homebrew_browser\boot.dol Then you can run that from the list in HBC to easily download & manage your homebrew apps. Gecko OS is on the utilities tab if I remember right. I'm suggesting the Homebreby PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
Wiibrew doesn't support backups.by PhoenixTank - The Junkyard
Yeah, pretty sure that is allowed. Gecko OS =) A tip to get it working right: you will want to force PAL 60 from the options, and of course, you need to turn on the region free option. Enjoy!by PhoenixTank - Offtopic
I'm not having any issues with the latest Gecko via HBC, so I can't say the issue is with 4.0. Have you tried downloading it via the Homebrew Browser?by PhoenixTank - Homebrew Applications
Not sure about your mention of usb gecko, but provided the .dol is renamed to boot.dol, yes that should load the application.by PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Okay, you are a little confused here, which is understandable. Bannerbomb is a means to run a homebrew application, or installer. Homebrew applications on Wii are in the form of .dol or .elf files. Bannerbomb looks at the root of your sd card for files named boot.dol or boot.elf to launch. The wiibrew wiki hosts/links to a lot of homebrew apps that you can try out. The question is, whatby PhoenixTank - Getting Started
Having issues with applications crashing during use with the bannerbomb alpha, too. Most seem to stop responding to wiimote input after a short amount of time. Gecko OS issues a code dump when trying to load a disc. These all work fine via HBC. Going to give the other exploit variants a try later, though I don't expect much, since I believe they are only meant to be fixes for the initialby PhoenixTank - Homebrew General
Quotebg4545QuotenintendudeIn your opinion, do you think it's safe to try? Two things make me suspicious: 1) As you said yourself, WiiBrew isn't supporting it. 2) Daniel_C_W said that it possibly could have (or will) bricked Wiis. Do you think I'm better off waiting for WiiBrew to either support this exploit or wait for a tried-and-true exploit that WiiBrew supports? Iby PhoenixTank - Getting Started
