that's the equivalent of $5. But what I mean is, each game comes with a different emulator. Ocarina of Time comes with a different emulator than Mario 64. This wasts memory. Nintendo COULD have one emulator on the consol(per system) and then each VC game would be just a ROM, but they suck so much at emulation that each emulator can only play one game! If you ask me, Nintendo can learn something from homebrew! It's no secret that we are already churning out apps that are better than some of Nintendo's! Our emulators, especially! Every VC game has an emulator and a ROM. Each emulator is specially designed to run a specific game. This means that for every VC game you download, it downloads a different emulator, eating up space! Thby strongfan - Homebrew General

I'm trying to compile Hello World. And I'm running it in a terminal. That's the only way I know of to compile it(that's what the Tutorial uses)by strongfan - Homebrew General

Mario 64 is so fast, I actually had fun playing it! I almost forgot I was testing it! Smash 64 runs at half-speed, as usual. However, it runs at fullspeed on the main menu screen! The sound sounds almost perfect when it's at full speed! Awesome!by strongfan - Homebrew Applications

I typed "touch ~/.bashrc" into the terminal or nothing happened. EDIT: okay. I got that fixed. Well, I've finally given in and am trying to install Devkit on my Ubuntu linux machine. I followed the tutorial until it says edit ~/.bashrc and add I can't find that file! It doesn't exist! Is there some kind of automated installer to do all that stuff for me? Thanks in advance.by strongfan - Homebrew General

Super Smash Bros. runs at a tolerable speed. How fast? Go play Brawl online with somebody on the other side of the world. In other words, 34 fps. It is perfectly playable if you don't mind it being in slow-mo. There are minor texture errors. The sound sounds like Mario 64; it sounds like somebody peed in a tin can and put the speaker in there, which sound really cool if you add slow-moby strongfan - Homebrew Applications

I had that problem too(with my old wii) and it became a major problem and I couldn't get my game out and I had to send it back to Nintendo THREE TIMES!!!!!!! This would be great if it is possible!by strongfan - Homebrew General

Why can't I ever get this to boot?! I tried it with the HBC, but I got the black screen of death! I tried it with the Homebrew Launcher(outdated, I know) and the screen just flashes! Yet when I load it with the tcp load, it does load?
