^^I was thinking that the PSPs firmware would've been a problem as well, though when I read this topic. Hardware I didnt think would be much of a problem as the Xbox 360 can pick up a PSP connected to it's USB port, as I've read of some 360 users doing so. However that's limited to media stored on the unit itself I believe. Plus it was some time ago when I heard about that.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
Topics about Wiisx like this, and like that, and like those buried in the pages of the forum, and one thing that everyone has in common in each that's a factor to the problem........And that would be that Wiisx is a beta, which everyone forgets. USB support isnt integrated into it yet, and if it is in some fashion then it isnt integrated properly. Note it's Wiibrew page. SD cby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
It's not what you're doing. Wiisx is still a beta and cant handle games that use multiple disc images properly yet.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
Shame that he hasnt been heard from. I remember he had some rather ambitious ideas to implement things. Sega CD in your port being one if I recall correctly along with Turbo CD sound emulation. Anyways I do realize that some people do need to have skills to be able to do the things people ask for. It's a shame though that when one does turn up that they do a quick thing and leave it at tby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
That's probably what I remember then. You said something along the lines of your port wouldnt have the capability cause of limitations of the Wii. I'm not saying it wouldnt be possible, but I remembered the discussion about your port, and it's as you say very unlikely to happen. Though seemingly there are coders out that want to try and tackle such things. Speaking of which howby nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
^^^When tehskeen was active Eke-Eke had a release thread for his port, and I remember him saying it didnt have that capability. Sega CD it does, but 32x I distinctly remember him saying it didnt. Granted it is open source, but that's what I remember of the discussion about 32x on his port when it was asked.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
The Sega Genesis emulator Wii has doesnt support 32x emulation. Will there be a 32x emulator? That's unknown. If someone really wanted to they could make one. Is there one? No.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
QuoteWaxyPumpkin72Quote1. Clear your SD card completely and make it blank. That isn't necessary. How many times are you going to say that when my directions clearly helped him? ^^If that's too difficult to understand for you right now then I've copied a post I made for someone who also didnt know how to setup their SD card for homebrew use. I'll post it below and all you have to do is follow the steps. Hopefully it will simplify the process if the example Waxy gave you is by any means confusing you. 1. DOSBox is supposedly capable of using Windows 95 after a update it got some time back, but how useable it is would be another question. Other PC games should be fine, but you may encounter problems with running CD-ROM images if you dont know how to work around the complexeties of DOSBox. The emulator is your only option. Currently multiple disc games have trouble running on it, primarily cause the emulator is in it's beta stages. Until the emulator is ported over and optimized one hundred percent it will always have problems running games. ^^^That's the whole idea of zelda hacking, and using patches to patch games. To change aspects to your liking and do things differently in said game. It's just easier to download a patch and patch a zelda game with it, instead of making one up from scratch.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
Zelda games have IPS patches you can download and patch onto a given version of w/e zelda game. Closest you'll get to a homebrew zelda.by nightwishfan1 - Ideas, requests
The Wii console itself cant read zip files. Nor any PC based file for that matter. Certain apps however can with the use of certain development libraries. Note the seventh feature on the Snes9X GX google code page below. It says .zip, .7z support, which means the emulator should be able to read the files. Note I'm saying emulator. This doesnt mean the Wii can alone.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
You can find the shareware files on the apogee website. Finding the full versions is something we cant help you do.by nightwishfan1 - Homebrew Applications
I only told him to completely clear it, cause it didnt seem like he was quite getting the more complex directions. If you simplify things for beginners where they can grasp what needs to be done, then it will make them less dependant on others to figure out what to do. In other words it will grow on them, and become an easy task to accomplish.by nightwishfan1 - Getting Started
1. Clear your SD card completely and make it blank. 2. In the blank area create the apps folder. 3. Download your Wii apps, and create folders within the apps folder named after the Wii programs you downloaded. 4. Extract the archive file you downloaded for your Wii programs, and find the boot.dol, icon.png, and xml files. Copy them. If anything else is with those copy them as wellby nightwishfan1 - Getting Started

It's the emulator itself believe it or not. It's not exactly optimized for the Wii, though Dancinninja is helping Tantric to optimize it more, as Tantric by himself cant do it alone. He cant do it alone, cause he is also maintaining at least four or so other projects as well. So there's only so much he can do. It's definitely readable and writeable. The adapter that it came with has a switch for making it read only on the side, which obviously I can toggle for writing and removing from the card.
