Hey all, its been a while. Just wanted to drop in and say hello and oh by the way I AM GOING TO BE A DAD!!! My wife and I have been together for 12 years and been trying for 5 1/2 years and she called today to say the doctor said she is pregnant. Sorry this is so off topic but I am so happy I had to post it. Later all. Elmoreasby elmoreas - Offtopic
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys. Once I knew what they were called I was able to find a freeware one. Its called Fat32Formatter by TOKIWA. Anyways its a tiny (228Kb) little file but it worked great and I got my PS3 Data backed up. BTW there is another program that the market is flooded with called swissknife, but it is a virus so if you ever need this type of software don'by elmoreas - Offtopic
Hey guys sorry to be so far off topic but I have a ps3 now as well as my Wii and I want to back up my data on it but it only works with FAT32 devices which with traditional windows software maxes out at 32gb. I was told that you can get 3rd party software that can format larger drives into FAT32 format but I dont know what the are called or how to go about getting them. Could anyone post any infoby elmoreas - Offtopic
I have a couple questions about using DOP-Mii Mod. My end goal is to be able to use mii installer extractor which unfortunately requires 249. But I have heard that you can install a fakesigned ios36 to 249 and it will work and avoid the whole (bad bad bad) piracy thing. So here is my question when I use DOP Mii Mod it says that while using my currently fakesigned ios 36 to install other IOS'by elmoreas - Homebrew Applications

Hey all I have a complicated case mod that was done wrong by modchipman.com and I am looking for a different 3rd party repair website/shop to get it fixed right. I am looking for a site/shop that someone has used before that way I know they are legit and won't steal my CC info or my Wii and also so I will know what to expect quality and time frame wise. If anyone has ever used a 3rd party reby elmoreas - Offtopic
Thanks for the quick reply and for the info, unfortunately DOPMii won't restore over the IOS for some reason I keep getting an error and having to shut down the Wii (not good) and reboot. Which is why it was reccomended that I use Anytitle deleter to remove the IOS completely and reinstall it. But the other info is good to know. Thank you very much. Hey all, my IOS36 with Trucha Bug, ES Identify, Flash Access, and NAND Permission has been corrupted. It has been confirmed so that is not what I need help with; It was reccomended to me that I use Anytitle Deleter or Anytitle Deleter MOD to delete IOS36 and reinstall it with DOPMii's IOS36 restorer. It sounds like a good solution but I have a couple concerns cause of my situation and my unfby elmoreas - Homebrew Applications
Well its the reverse of what should be the case but if it works, go with it, I always say. Glad to hear you found the root of the problem. You know if you study the "mess" close enough on several different games you will be able to devise the pattern that makes it work for your system and reset the txt files for your Sega games so that they are a "mess" too and will work as well. I ran into a similar issue, I am sorry that I forgot about it until now but the pieces didn't fit until MM9 worked. Take you SD Card out and put it in your PC. Open one of the offending VC game's txtcodes files and check 3 things: 1. That the saved file name with spaces included is less than or equal to 24 characters in length. 2. That the game id is 4 digits only, ends in E, is iby elmoreas - Homebrew Applications
For some reason it will not let me reinstall on IOS 36, though the syscheck says I have Trucha ES Id and NAND enabled on IOS36, but Save Game Manager Mod doesn't work with IOS36. So I guess I am going to have to DOP another IOS isnt 37 the other one to use? BTW it said Flash was disabled on IOS36 if that makes a difference on why SGM Mod didn't work, though my understanding is only NANDby elmoreas - Homebrew Applications

When I unzip DOP-Mii there is the normal app folder with the png xml and dol file that goes in the app folder but there is also a config folder with a DOP-Mii.cfg file in it. I already have a config folder that has a .cfg file in it for a different app, though it is named differently, so do I just add the DOP-Mii.cfg file to the config folder I already have along with the other .cfg file and theby elmoreas - Homebrew Applications

I picked up a few new games and have been working on beating them for the save game downloader app so I never got around to doing the startpatch mod, in fact I was going to do it here in about an hour. Good timing Arikado. Instead I will give SGM Mod a try, but first I need to run DOP IOS MOD, and I have a couple questions about both. 1. Really that is GREAT to hear. So I should use StartPatch Mod and since I have verified that IOS is Trucha Buged just have it install on it and I can avoid that horrible 249 altogether... That is awesome. I didn't want 249 in the first place because of piracy and the fact that I am so against it. I had asked Arikado for that SGM Mod just to avoid having to use 249 cause of the piracy implicatby elmoreas - Homebrew General
No I was considering installing Priiloader but I changed my mind at the last second cause I got interested in StartPatch and cIOS Patchmii. What do you mean it will not work in newer (LU64+) Wii's? My Wii's serial number starts with LU66. So does that mean CIOS Patchmii will not work on it? If not what other options do I have to install/patch/clone IOS249 so that StartPatch and or Saveby elmoreas - Homebrew General
Hey all this is a long post but I have a lot of questions cause I don't want a brick and I want to be sure I know what I am doing so please bear with me on this one. I really appreciate the time you put into reading this and responding, it is of great help to me and I am very greatful. bg4545 is correct. I can confirm. The Wii loads the game temporarily to the NAND and until it is overwritten stays there and is playable instantly as if it were on the system directly. I tried this with 3 games and it worked with all 3. Plus I have heard this from other sources. It is nothing to worry about, it is normal Wii operations. Hope this helps. Later. Well glad to hear 1 issue down but out of all of them that one worries me the least. What I am really concerned about is the ever increasing load times for Gecko OS, when the screen is black, it is getting close to 4 minutes now. If anyone even has a guess at the issue it would be appreciated. I am at a total loss and this post has been up a while and not gotten any responses that can explain whaby elmoreas - Homebrew General
Everytime I load a game with Gecko OS, no matter how many cheat codes or how few, or the size of the saved game file; Slowly over time it is taking longer and longer for the black screen to go away (after load game is selected on Gecko OS) and for the game to start. Also I have issues with the Wiimote disconnecting during the loading and having to be turned back on, not resynced but turning on anby elmoreas - Homebrew General
Your #'s 1 and 2 bring up good points, the internal fan also is a turbo, which requires more power to operate, pehaps if I put the standard one back in it will get enough power to operate. The second point of getting more power through to the fan is a good idea too, but how would I do that, anyone have any ideas? Thanks all. Have a good one. Talk to you later. @cactusjack901: Oh the warning lights go on after 30 mins or less, I get concerned and off it goes. I am not sure about leaving it on all night, I am afraid I would wake up to a fried Wii. According to the website it will be streaming video over a channel but like any channel it will take up memory. However if Nintendo has any brains whatsoever they will make this channel able to run off the sd card like games do and just temporarily use Wii memory. Well that settles it I am going to do it, I am going to install priiloader. Thank you for taking the time to answer that long post Arikado. I got all the answers I needed. Hey all, I have seen in the Fixmii section horror story after horror story of bricked wiis from people installing Priiloader and it causing a brick. Isn't Priiloader supposed to be there to help you recover from a brick or help prevent one in the first place?
