I have trouble running the devkitPro template on my Wii...
The text is not showing, but the home button exit function works.

compile one of the examples before trying to run your own code. when you get the example to work then you can just use the example as a base (I don't think all the Wii examples work but try them all).

You can also edit your project make file to send dols over the network to your wii for quick testing (saves the work of copying to sd card). [wiibrew.org]
