Quick IOS question

If someone was running WAD Manager off a trucha bugged IOS36, and tried to install a non-trucha bugged IOS36 WAD, would it work? If not, what would happen?

My guess is that it would crash because it would be overwriting the bug that is is using. And then you would have a corrupted IOS 36. I might be wrong though

Well if you are installing IOS36 without the trucha bug, then it wouldn't be using the trucha bug to install. (You can install equal or greater versions of IOS without trucha)

Oh yeah I see now

IIRC, the presence of the trucha bug is irrelevant.

It's the IOS version number that matters.

I believe it would even work installing an IOS with a lower version number because the trucha IOS36 would be loaded into RAM and would be modifying the IOS36 in NAND.

Oh, I meant installing a lower version number. As in, overwriting cIOScorp IOS36 with latest regular IOS36.

And I think that would work, because the loaded IOS would have the trucha bug and could therefore install an IOS with a lower version number.

And if the trucha bug isn't enough, the IOS36 in cIOSCORP contains the NAND permissions patch, which I believe is the same as the one in IOS249 and 250.
