where to get maps for quake?

can soemone tell me where i get the new maps for quake on the wii to play online and where i save them, i know its on the quake website but i cant find them. thanks

Ok, then where do you get the shareware maps/wads for quake and doom?

I thought that the first level of both games were released as demos, freely copyable.

Alright, I downloaded it. The first map seems to be in the package.

Now, what's a usable set of controls for the wiimote? If I have the nunchuck attached, is that sufficient to play?

I personally like the GC controller better, but yeah, the remote + nunchuck combination works. :-]

Did you ever check out this resource [planetquake.gamespy.com]

Specifically, over at [planetquake.gamespy.com] , it looks like the official quake maps are now "free", as of 2006.

So does anyone know how to get the "Please call xxx and buy it" notice removed from the wii version?
