Wii, 360, or PS3?

I'd say tie between Wii and 360. I don't even want to talk about PS3. :P

Nintendo is definitely first and I'd say it's a tie between Microsoft and Sony in second..
Xbox 360 is good, PS3 is not. But the PS2 and PSP are good

Wii for homebrew.
X360 for Live and 3RL big explosions.
PS3 for PS Store and BluRay

Xbox 360 for overpriced live that you actually have to pay for...
no other system requires you to buy internet twice...

I say tie between wii and 360 if this comes out.

You're getting a blue-ray player for the same price as a console with no blue ray and no good video-out cables and no wifi and no free online services and no decent games (it's called XBOX360 in case you couldn't figure it out ;-) ).

Agreed, the wii whether you believe it or not is not a "gaming" system, sure its revolutionary and cool and all that but it dosent have any great games, that make the system stand out.

Have you ever seen a blue-ray movie #1, #2 25-50 Gigs of data storage, #3 it is going to be the standard soon and it is already implemented in the PS3. Do you remember (maybe not depending on age), when everyone bought an X-box because it played DVD's, I do, and then you didn't have to have a DVD player and a game system. Which is a big reason why PS3 won the blue-ray vs HDDVD war, because you could get a ps3 and a blue-ray player, so you already had a system to play it on (that was relatively cheap compared to the HDDVD player or a stand alone blue-ray player) so why not just buy blue-ray movies.

No, I didn't know it would be replacing DVDs...I guess I know now! :P lol

In terms of best to worst, I would say that the PS3 is the best, the 360 is a close second, and the Wii is a somewhat further 3rd.

PS3 is future-proof. It can become useless as an game console, but will survive pretty well as an media center (with much thanks to the Blu-Ray disc)

60 bucks for year? Well, not exactly cheap, but considering the high-level service provided, it sounds nice for me (my main issue with Live is the fact that is not avaiable to all countrys, pretty much like PSN. I don't have this hassle with NWC, though)

I've only extensively used a Wii, as I dont own a PS3 or 360, but I have played the 360 more than the PS3. But, if I was getting one of them, I'd get a PS3. And if I was a betting man, I'd wager that I'd play it far more than my Wii. I dont really play my Wii that much. The best thing about Wii is the homebrew. The actual games arent all that great. So for me, I think it'd be

1. PS3
2. 360
3. Wii

Although, because I only own a Wii, I can't really say for sure. But I would definetly prefer to get a PS3 over a 360, for several reasons, such as free online services, built-in wifi, blu-ray player, and the fact that more of my friends have PS3s, so there'd be more of them to play online with. But I prefer the 360 controller. It is possibly the best controller of that style (i.e. joysticks and buttons, no motion sensing). Games wise, they're pretty even with PS3 pushing slightly ahead (MotorStorm, Uncharted, Resistance and Killzone, VS Halo and...oh that's it).

Game-wise, yes. Except that most good games are available on PS3 and 360 so that makes the Wii the perfect second console. So because the PS3 Hardware is infinitely better than the 360's (again, 360 still doesn't have wifi - you have to buy a $100 adapter) my list forces me to put the PS3 at the top and the 360 in dead last.

How? You're paying to use your internet connection :/ Nintendo and Sony are free (although, admittedly, not as good - but Sony isn't THAT far behind like the Wii)

I know, its lame that you have to pay for internet, but at least they're not making the logical payment:

$7=1 month
$21=3 months
$84=12 months (1 year)

So, if you do have to pay for it, at least they lower the price a little. :P

BTW, the adapter is $50. ;)

Yeah, the WiFi stuff is lame. But if you consider techinical specs, PS3 and Xbox360 aren't really much different. In fact, the green box is better (more RAM and better VGA). But I guess you wasn't talking about this kind of stuff =P
