"Buddies?"

When you go to see a user's information, it says "buddy." Is there any point in this? What does it do?

I think its so you can make someone a friend or "buddy", not really sure why you'd bother though tbh.

huh, i get no notification i've been made somebody's buddy? Is there any way to check?

I'm not sure....When you add a buddy, it shows your mutual friends! :P

Edit: Oh, go to your PM center and there's a little icon that says "Buddies". You can view them there. lol
