emualtors

ok i'm new to all this and this is probably a stupid stupid question but what are emualtors for?

Emulators emulate things. :P
Nintendo 64, Genesis, GBA, you name it.

They can load games that are for the system that the emulator is designed to emulate. Does that make sense?

and it's emulator, not emualtor (wow... no offense dude, but that was actually hard to type, my brain kept spelling it right over and over =p )
