Am I better off?

More than anyhting I wanted to get those custom Smash stages on my wii but I cannot do so without a 2GB Sandisk card and some risk on my warranty. Considering my money situation, a part of me feels that I am better off at the moment without Homebrew and I don't feel like losing any chance to repair my Wii or get a new one. So I am better off right now?

Well I guess I can hold off on my project until I find some other means to do this stuff, this tricky business.
