Problem running backup game

Hello. Im a complete newb to this, but really need some help. I have gone through the processes to install the homebrew channel with no problem, then then seem to hit a brick wall. I have followed various instructions for burning a disk, like slow speeds fast speeds plus and minus dvd disks of different quality, but whenever i try to run these using a backuploader i get a black screen and nothing. or a disk 324 error. I have formatted my Wii and started from scratch several times, using different methods and different programs on the SD card. If anyone could help, i would be extremly grateful
