Please Help!! New to this!!!!

ok I installed the homebrew channel and the backup channel Edited Out and i can get back up games to work if they are US region. When I put Pal versions in,either the game is in black and white or the screen scrolls? What else do i need to do to get backup PAL verion games to work. My firm wear was downgraded to 3.2U Thanks in Advance..
