Wiimote dying during Wad Manager ios35 install

Hey, I'm trying to install the Back-up Channel... I'm at the step where I need to use the Wad Manager to select IOS35. I get here fine, but when I hit 'A' on IOS35, my controller dies and won't reconnect to the Wii.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there another way to install the back-up channel?

Um, ya, I was being sarcastic. Please read the rules. Backups and WADs aren't supported here. If you talk about them, you might get banned.
