Media Players questions

I have a couple of questions about MPlayer CE. First, will playing music work with USB 1.1? I can't install USB 2.0 CIOS, but I think that is only needed for video, am I right? I'm thinking about getting a USB enclosure for an old hard drive and dumping all my music on it, will it all play fine with USB 2.0 CIOS? - OK, I tried this with a USB flash drive, and it worked for playing music. I assume the cIOS is only needed for video?

And secondly, is there another media player which is better? Basically what I want is something capable of playing music which will be either mp3 or aac, off USB, and I would like ID3 tag reading and album art. Is there any player which supports all this?

DMP is the best music player I've come across. It supports several formats and can read USB devices. But I don't know of any media players that can display the album art...

OK, thanks. Its a shame, I'd like a nice interface for listening to music.
