NTSF support across the board

I see that Mplayer CE just got NTSF support. Any chance that is going to spread across all of the other applications such as the emulators and such?

Well, it shouldnt be hard for developers to add it, now that there is a library. Apparently its implented in a similar way to libfat, so it should be very easy. Probably in the next version of most emulators/other apps, NTFS support will be added. Provided that the apps/emulators are still being updated.

If it becomes integrated into libfat such that basic calls like fatinitdefault() and fopen() recognize the NTFS filesystem, then I would say, "Yes".

The problem is there's nothing right now that will neatly mount fat and ntfs partitions and present that to the coder/end user in a logical way.

And no it won't be integrated into libfat. libFAT is for FAT only.

I just got through watching a movie using Mplayer and my TB external drive using NTSF and can't say just how happy I am ;)
