In desperate need of some help please

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but im having a big problem with my Wii. I followed the "Noob starter guide" and everything went really well, until i installed preloader. At first it wouldnt let me update, i had a read around and found that it had been discontinued and the update was now called priiloader. I installed it but for some reason my system menu has gone. Ive been searching for hours, trying to find a fix but i cant seem to find one anywhere.

If i click on System menu it says:

"Error autobooting systemmenu!
ES_Diverify failed! no ios with it patched?"

I can still get onto the Homebrew channel, if i click on BootMii IOS the Wii freezes until i turn the power off and on.

Have i bricked my Wii?? Any help is much apprieciated, im tearing my hair out, and i havent got much as it is!!

At the bottom of priiloader it says:

IOS v70
Systemmenu v482
priiloader v0.1 (r15)
I updated the Wii to 4.2 before i started all of this
I also have Bootmii installed to Boot2

Someone told me to install CIOSCORP 3.5 main and extras, cIOS38r14 and IOS70-64-v6687. I did but the problem is the same.

Any of you guys got any ideas?

Cioscorp? That just made your problem worse. I'm assuming that this "Noob Starter Guide" packed in loads of fail on your wii, and you screwed up your wii.

To fix it, simply download Dop-IOS MOD and install the system menu. If that doesn't help, try installing IOS50. I think that should help.
Use this experience as a lesson to only follow guides on wiibrew. :)

What IOS am i installing to? Should i leave it on 60 or choose one that accepts fake signings?

You can just leave it on 60.

Also, install IOS50.

EDIT: I must have read that wrong (its nearly 6am over here) ive put it on IOS50 :S Its installing now, hope this doesnt mess it up

As i have priiloader on now, can i play backup disks?

Backups aren't supported here, can't help you with that.

Have you tried installing bootmii as boot2? Its pretty nifty, I suggest you install it. :)

Oh right sorry. Yeah ive done that, new to all this tho so i dont really get what it is yet.

If you navigate to the little cogs on the far right, you can backup your wii's NAND. Then, if you ever brick your wii, you can restore it to its previous state.

Ooo I will make sure i do that then, i thought i had bricked it tonight.. was a scary thought having to tell the miss's! lol

And in the future;

1. Never follow "OMG TOTAL NOOB STARTERZ GUIDE TO HOMEBREWZ" instructions
2. Never use failpacks
3. Never use Waninkoko tools
4. Never use CIOScorp
5. If you can install Boot-Mii to boot2, and all should be well.

I upgraded to priiloader v0.3b and then rebooted. I then upgraded to cios 38 rev 17 and now my wii will not go to the system menu. It boots to priiloader menu with below error. Does anyone please know how to fix?

I am on 4.1.

that means the ios you choose to use for System menu got detected as stub or the ES_DIverify really failed (im going to add a different error msg soon)
