Snes9X GX 4.1.8 Multiplayer Issues: PLEASE HELP.

Ok guys I'm really stuck on this issue. I downloaded the latest version of SNES 9X and it turns that I can't seem to be able to play two players. I'm trying play some 2 Player games but the APP won't recognize the 2 player controller. I'm trying to use a classic controller for P1 and a GC controller for P2. I can go to the menu via the GC controller when connected to the P2 port but I can't use it to actually play. What am I doing wrong?

Have you actually tinkered with all of the menu items?
I don't recall, but I did have SNES9X and had the same problem, but all I had to do was play around with settings on the main menu and it was easy as Sunday morning.

I haven't had any problems with it. Except, lately, whenever I boot up Snes9x to play a 2-player game, I have to tell the other player to not touch anything until I load the game up. I use Classic Controllers and, since I got a Classic Controller Pro, the remotes sometimes switch between P1 and P2 when in the menu.
