VBA GX transferring saves to gba

I have been searching the forums for a way to use the gba-gc connector on VBAGX to transfer save files. However, all I found were questions about linking games using the gba-gc cable for multiplayer, etc. But that is not what I want to ask about. I wanted to ask if there are plans for a new update to VBA GX to allow GBA compatability therefore importing save files into your SD card from the GBA cartridge and exporting save files from your SD card into the GBA cartridge. Here is an example:

Playing a rom of Sonic Advance 2 on the computer using vba and cheating to get all chaos emeralds on a character to unlock Tiny Chao Garden.
Moving the save file into the proper folder on your SD card for VBA GX.
Taking out the SD card and inserting it into the Wii.
Loading VBA GX on the homebrew channel.
Clicking on the "Transfer Saves" button on the VBA GX menu.
Clicking on "Export to GBA."
Loading the save from your SD card.
Turning on your GBA with the GBA connected to the Wii via GBA to GC connector.
Inserting the Sonic Advance 2 cartridge with the GBA turned on.
Clicking "Transfer saves" on VBA GX.
Waiting.
When it is done, click OK.
Turn off your gba and disconnect.
Turn on your gba and play the game using your save file that you have exported to your GBA.


NOTE: The example I described would be how you would do it if there would be an update that would allow that.

Most likely never going to happen.
